If you had morning sickness....

When did it start?

When did it stop?

What (if anything) worked for you to help feel better?

I haven't had it yet this time, but when I was pregnant before I think I had it from about week 6 to just a few weeks into the second trimester. One thing that worked for my nausea was mints, those red and white kinds like what you get at restaurants worked best. I think any kind of mint might work, though. Other than that just eating small amounts of bland food throughout the day should work. Good luck!

i only got some occasional nighttime nausea this time around

but with tony it was pretty bad . it started at 7wks and lasted until around 12wks.

what helped me was taking vitamin b6 twice a day, and eating a lot of really small things....like ginger cookies.

I had severe hyperemesis with Trey. I was sick from about week 7 until the very end. I was on Zofran to help with it. I also found sour stuff helped me out a lot. Those citrus sour altoids, lemon drops...and I drank a lot of lemonade or sucked on lemons

MS started a week before I found out I was pregnant

It didnt stop until I gave birth to Madison. I had a 3-4week break around 7 months.

I ate lots of chicken. I was ok while I was eating so I did that alot. My Dr never gave me anything.

Mine started in full force around 6 weeks. I still occasionally get sick but nowhere near how it was in the beginning. So I will say that the worst of it ended around 16 weeks.

I can't say that anything specific helped me get thought those times. Ot varies from week to week. One week eating crackers helped, but the next week they made me feel worse! Then one week I found that drinking root beer lessened the nausea, but then after a week or 2 it would make me sick. SO I will just say that the one thing that was consistant was that I had to keep food in my stomach! Which was pretty hard to do considering I didn't have any appetite and just the thought of food made me want to gag. But if my stomach got empty I was so much worse!! So try to eat little meals or snacks throughout the day.

Hope you feel better soon!

I had severe morning sickness and received IV treatment to help with it...but that didn't really work. It was the worst during my first two trimesters and it lasted 24 hours a day. Random things helped for short periods of time...green apple jolly ranchers, mint lifesavers, gingersnaps...random stuff like that.

My first pregnancy I didn't have any m/s at all. This time I had it from about six weeks until about 13 weeks. Oddly the only thing that always helped it was eating Slim Jims. I have no idea why, and the thought of eating one now makes me sick, but that was the only thing that got me through the workday without running to the bathroom.

With my first pregnancy, I had m/s pretty bad. It started at 5 1/2 wks. and ended at about 3 1/2 mos. What helped me? Nothing! Seriously...nothing helped. Because on top of this I also had awful heartburn & food adversions too.

I definately agree with what was mentioned already: when you let your stomach go on empty...you feel worse!!!!! I just remember eating toast, bagels...simple things like that. But even with those I remember it taking me forever just to get through it because I still felt I had alot of problems with food coming back up...even if I smelled something...or trying to brush my teeth for that matter. Eating small, frequent snacks will definately help your m/s. Just never let yourself get hungry!
With this pregnancy....m/s hit me at week 6 but it ended at week 8! In those 2 wks. it still wasn't as bad as the first time around though!

My m/s, with this pregnancy, started around 6-7 weeks and it was horrible. I couldn't keep anything down and it didn't help to try to keep anything in my stomach because EVERYTHING came back up. I ended up getting a prescription for Zofran and that stuff was amazing but I only got 12 pills every 30 days. I also got a prescription for Phenergan suppositories and I would take those at night or during the day on weekends. Phenergan made me very sleepy. My m/s with this pregnancy finally stopped around 20-23 weeks but I still have horrible food aversions and difficulty swallowing pills.

With Connor I was sick from 6-20 weeks. I ended up with a Phenergren prescription, as none of the "home" remedies worked. I should have been in the hospital, but was under the care of a completely lame midwife who thought it was okay for me to keep nothing down for 4 days. Thank GOD I switched to the OB in the practice!

With Logan it started a little bit later, I can't remember exactly when, but was miserable by the time I got home from Milwaukee the end of September. I was sick up until and after delivery. I had Zofran (the same issues with Jenn with insurance...have leftover pills if anyone who has been prescribed them wants them!) and Phenergren after delivery.

I feel like a new woman now, and we're pretty sure there is no way I'm ever going through that again!

With Emma I was nauseous from weeks 7-10 ish, but was able to handle it. With Krishan, I was sick from weeks 6-14, and it was so bad I couldn't get out of bed for several days.

I wore sea bands, and found that lemon candies worked a bit, though nothing worked with Krishan, really. I almost went on Zofran with him.
