Why in the world....

... is my son waking up early now!!!

He used to be a good sleeper since about 4 months old. He'd sleep till 8AM minimum.

Now this past week, he's been waking at 6:45, 7:00 and just this past Sunday it was 6:15!!

Is it just a phase or am I doomed to have a rooster boy?

ps... He's just about 9 months old and also going through a lot right now... crawling, just learned to get up by himself to stand, and his first tooth!!!!

Will he ever go back?

Emily did the same thing when she started learning to crawl. Now that she's walking, she's started waking at 6:30/7, when she used to sleep til 8.

I also think it's because it gets light here SO darn early. Since Indiana isn't on DST, it is light outside by 5am.

Isaiah has been waking up at 5:30 am. I REALLY hope this changes once the days get shorter again.

Josiah did that. He got over it, luckily and sleeps until 8am-ish again. Phew.

Jason used to wake up at 5:30am every day. Only recently did he start sleeping in until 7am sometimes. It's still not unusual for him to wake up at 6:15am. I would love it if he would sleep until 8!!
