Question Swaddling Question?

Alasdair sleeps best when he is swaddled, but I don't know what to do with it being hot out. Yesterday it was in the 90's and it was just to hot to have him swaddled, and he didn't nap as well.

What does everyone else do? Do you not swaddle them during the summer?

We've been swaddling Norah b/c we have no choice...she cant chill out w/o it. Do you have a/c? The past two days, I've had her in nothing but a diaper inside the swaddle. And when it was so muggy (before our a/c kicked in and cooled it off), I skipped her legs....so when I laid her down on the blanket, I wrapped the one side over, then I pulled that middle up to her crotch, leaving her legs out, and pulled the other side over. KWIM?

I used a light sheet to swaddle Jackson when it was hot out.

We've been doin the fan & AC.

When Katie had her fever, I undid the outer part of the swaddle after she fell asleep. she didn't sleep too well, but I don't know how much of that had to do with the lopse swaddle.

Josiah was born last July when it was well in the 90s here in Boston, and we swaddled him all the time. But we have central air, so that probably makes a difference.
