I don't know what to do!!

Lately Alex just does not want to listen. We have started to put him in a "time out" which works except for the fact tht he cries the whole time! He knows when he is doing something wrong and if you ask him why he is sitting on the couch he will tell you what he did. He usually is getting in trouble for doing something to Joshua like sitting on him on putting his feet on his head or something like that. We will tell him to take his feet off of Joshua and he will look at you with that sh*t eating grin and move closer until we have to pick him up and move him. He loves Joshua to death and sometimes I think a little too much. He is starting to play a little too rough with him ( I think that may be because he plays with a 3 1/2 yr old all day at the sitters and they play rough) He doesn't understand that Joshua can't play like that yet.

He also has become a huge crier. He cries all the time and it is just to get what he wants. Once you pick him up or let him do what he wants he is fine. I try not to give him what he wants but sometimes it is just so ing irratating that I can't stand it anymore and I give in. He has become a HUGE MAMA's BOY! He will start to cry if I walk into the kitchen because he can't come in there with the gate up. I can't even go to the bathroom sometimes with out him crying for me.

How do I break him of not listening and crying all the time. I need HELP!!!

The first thing you need to do is stop giving in to him and NOW. I know it's hard but he will learn that behavior will give him what he wants and he will not stop on his own. My son is very clingy and whiny right now, throwing tantrums left and right but I try and leave the room or ignore him and tell him he will not get what he wants by acting like this. I hope it will sink it one day!

Just this morning he threw a tantrum as soon as we got to school and his teacher told him if he continues to act like that he can't play with any toys or do any big boy activities with the rest of the kids. You could see the moment of clarity pass over his face and he stopped. She says giving him consequences is the best thing to do. Good luck!
