The budding walker
Did something like this help your little one with his/her walking skills? Josiah is still a bit unstable on his feet... I'm wondering if this would help, or maybe he's not ready for it.

It looks like something he'd have fun with. I'm sure it won't hurt.
I guess I think kids walk when they're good and ready. My oldest started walking when she was 9 months old and fell down a lot. My son didn't walk until he was about 1, but when he did, he just walked like he'd been doing it his whole life. |

We have that toy and Emily loved playing with it and riding on it but it didn't really help her learn to walk. Each little one is different though, I'm sure it does help others..

When Joe was learning to walk, his physical therapist recommended push toys. She also said we should weight it so it was a bit heavier, so I taped a 5 lb dumbell to it.

Janelle loved that! Actually she still does, only now she prefers to play with the ball's and basket in front instead of walk with it. She could go all the way acrossed the house (not a big feat with our tiny house, but still) with it when she was at the stage of walking holding our fingers.

One thing that helped Katie was to not wear socks. You wouldn't think it would make such a difference, but it did!!!

Joshua learned to walk with that EXACT toy
 . I will use it again for Kyle.
