Anne has a spectacular aura about
Sleep training question

Overall Emma (7 mos) is a good sleeper. Once asleep she stays asleep. I want to start working on her falling asleep on her own now. She has done it quite a bit lately. Will not tolerate me shhhh-ing or patting her bum (she is a tummy sleeper). However, just as many times, I put her in her crib when she shows tired signs and she rolls right over onto her back. How do I work with this? This just happened at nap time, and I know she was tired because after putting her back on her tummy for the 5th time it only took a matter of a couple minutes of bum patting for her to fall asleep. I should add that she does not roll from back to tummy yet but she is close to it.

We are starting to work with a neighborhood girl with babysitting her and I would like to make it as easy as possible for naps and eventually night-time sleeping (when we get to the point of having her sit at night).

Honestly, I have not left her there long enough to find out. Maybe I should try that. We never had good luck with her sleeping on her back, hence the tummy sleping. Wen she first rolls, she starts playing with her feet and sometimes that is all she will do until i come back and roll her over. Other times she starts screaming, but usually she has rolled into the side of the crib.
