what about trying a veggie like avocado? that is high in healthy fat and its a perfect first food.

You wrote that you tried cereals in many different ways. Have you just tried other foods without the cereal? Have you tried the fruit and veggies by themselves? Maybe she just doesn't like cereal.
If your daughter liked the roll, why not try puffed rice cereal or the puffed finger foods that Gerber makes. They have wagon wheels, puffed sweet potato, and puffed apple/strawberry things. They are easy for a child to pick up, but melt in the mouth so its hard to gag on them.

I agree w/ Captain_hug. I'd try a veggie by itself. maybe she just really hates the taste of the bland cereal? If that doesn't work I'd call her ped. Our ped told us that she should be eating solids by about 6 months. (at least cereal) I bet your ped. would have things to try.
