Yeast infection!
My son... ( Yes, my SON ! ) has had a "yeast" infection on his penis and immediate skin folds for a few weeks now. We've been washing with water and drying it, then using LotrimenAF. Sometimes it slightly gets better and then all of a sudden it's worse.
Has anyone ever encountered this? How did you finally get rid of it? I'm going to call the ped this afternoon, I was just curious if I was dealing with a rare thing here. ![]() |

My son also had a yeast infection. It was from the antibotics he was taking. He has had four ear infections and so the antibotics finally caught up with him. The dr. prescribed a medication for it.

Do you have thrush? That could be the reason.

Nope, no thrush.
Well, I did call the pediatrician and a NP told me to stop the lotrimen and maybe in fact it wasn't a yeast infection. She told me to try neosporin and sure enough it's been getting better and better. I wonder what the heck it is? |

Richard had a yeast infection when he was younger. The tip of his penis got bright red...so I took him to the doctor. She prescribed a cream that cleared it up in no time at all.
