Help! MIL screwed up!

My MIL accidentally put Westcort cream (hydrocortisone valerate which I used on his mild eczema) on Ben's yeast infection! (His penis and skin folds are red and raw ) and he's been really cranky since I got home. Should I be worried? Because I AM!

He was screaming bloody murder till I changed him and fed him. He's content on my lap right now.

2nd question:
Anyone know how to clear up his yeast infection? The ped said to wash and dry it (no wipes) and put a little lotrimen AF on it, but it's been a over week and still it's not all cleared up. It comes and goes, and of course now its really bad!

I would definetly call the pedi. on this. About the westcort cream and about why the yeast isn't clearing up. When Kyle had yeast as a baby they gave him a prescription of something, the same with Emily...sorry I can't remember what it was. I hope He's feeling better soon!! Poor baby!!

Well, I didn't call the ped yet because amazingly enough it cleared up at the next diaper change. And it's been looking better today too. I really washed him down and dried him, so I think that helped, but I'm going to call just to be on the safe side.

DH asked MIL if she put it on and she said yes and didn't think anything of it. Needless to say, that item was removed from the area immediately.

THANKS!

That's great that it's getting better.
