Lyndee has a spectacular aura about
Expensive things your child has destroyed/broken....

What pricey things has your child broken?

We bought her a $229 portable DVD player that I think will die very soon.

She has also broken 2 other DVD players and 1 CD player is hanging by a string.

I know she doesn't mean to do it, but man! We'll still have to replace stuff!

The coffee table in our family room is all but ruined because of Peyton. The top of it is soft pine and she likes to bang her toys on it and drag them across the table.

Joe hasn't broken anything major yet. He did break a toy off of Frances' exersaucer that cost $25 to replace.

Nothing major yet here either. But I think the first thing will be the DVD player.

I have several spun glass figurines that Victoria has managed to get her hands on and drop plus a ceramic Mickey that was a gift but I know it cost a lot.

Other than that she's ruined a couple of of husband's Play Station games.

Jillian will become famous soon enough
Janelle has yet to break anything, she did rip the copyright page out of a java text book because she was trying to lift it up using just that page and the book was heavy, that's it.

I think I have you all beat....

My Dear Son threw away @ $10,000 worth of diamond earrings and a necklace. The earrings were a gift from my mother for my wedding, made from her late husband's engagement ring to her. The matching diamond necklace was my father's engagement ring to her that she gave me when I turned 21. I turns my stomach to think about it.

I can't really pin it on him, but he likes to play around my dressing table and they were there in a box. He probably grabbed it and put in it the trash can that sits right there. Then i just emptyed the trash can w/o looking. I can't bear to tell my mother yet. I hoped to give them to my daughter (if I have one) one day.

Austin: one VCR ($120), Xbox controller ($40 new)

Jackson: satellite remote ($40+)

Nothing too expensive (yet)...but still annoying to replace.
