How many teeth and how early?

I'm just wondering how other little ones were with new teeth coming in. Makenna had her first tooth at 5 months and they just don't seem to quit! She's working on her 14th right now. I feel sorry for her, but there's just not that much I can do. I don't want to keep giving her Motrin all of the time, but a few nights I have because she just needs to get some rest. She has been very good about the whole thing. A little crabby when those molars started coming in, but I can't blame her! So, I'm just trying to get an idea of how it is for everyone else.

Kalynn who is 17 months got her first tooth at 8 months. Right now she has 4 teeth at the top, 2 teeth on the bottom, one coming in at the bottom, a molar coming in at the bottom and 2 molars at the top so in all: 10

Carter is 13 months old right now. He got his first two teeth at 4 months, then four more at 7 months (all at the same time) then didn't start getting any more until 12.5 months when he got two more....so now he has almost 8.

Caroline got her first tooth around 6.5 months - at 2 years old she's up to 16 teeth now. The 2year molars are making their presence known, because she's got her hand in her mouth up to her knuckles. They are the slowest moving teeth in humanity, I swear.......

I swear Emma's been teething for most of her life! Her first two teeth didn't pop through until the week before her 1st bday. Currently she's got 6 teeth, with the last two having just broken through the surface recently and not fully descended. Her mouth looks like a lot more are coming up, but they are all taking FOREVER to come through. Poor kid spends all of her waking hours with her hand in her mouth.

Alex didn't break his first tooth until 10 months and it took at least a month for it to come down. He just broke through his 6th at 16 months.

Madelynn's first two teeth didn't come in until she was 11 months. She didn't get anymore until after she turned 1. She just got #15 at almost 23 months.

Ian is 16 months and has 12 teeth. He got his first tooth at almost 9 months. I think with that late start he is catching up quickly! His eye teeth are next - I think those are the canines? Anyway they are causing him a lot of trouble! Little buggers.

Jacob has about 16 teeth (I'm not sticking my finger in to count for sure.. heh ) But he is drooling and still cutting one or two more, I think.

Micayla didn't get her first tooth until about a week after her first birthday. Now at 21 months she has 10 teeth.

Melayna got her first tooth about 2 weeks ago, so at 5 1/2 months. The second one popped in about a week later. It seemed so early to me b/c Micayla teethed so late. At this rate Melayna will surpass Micayla.

This is Julian! He got his first tooth around seven months, and they've come in pretty consistently since then (although he did cut FOUR at the same time , but that didn't seem to bother him much). He's got all but the canines right now, and I know he's working on them - he slobbers like a fiend, chews on his hands constantly, and I can feel one just poking through the gum (come on, teeth, come in already!).

Emma is 15 months now and got her first tooth at 5 months and second one a couple weeks later. She had 8 teeth by 9 months old. Her first four molars came in at the same time at 14 months so now she's got 12 teeth She actually handles teething quite well, but you can tell her mouth hurts and she usually ends up with a diaper rash each time.
