I'm looking into covers, and ran across this description and am not familiar with what the words in caps are referring to:

Bummis Super Whisper Wraps are attractive and comfortable, this fabric can withstand even the rigors of industrial washing and drying. The generous cut of this cover makes it suitable for any type of FLAT diaper, or any type of PRE-FORMED, VELCRO OR SNAP-CLOSING diaper. The gusset is built in!

Would a Flat diaper be a prefold or a contour? And the preformed, velcro, snap closing diaper be a fitted diaper? Has anyone used these wraps?

TIA,
~Michelle

You are exactly right! :) A flat diaper is either a "flat", which is a large flat square piece of fabric that is folded to be able to fit your childs body type and then a prefold which is basically a flat that has already been folded for you. A pre-formed can be refering to a fitted prefold (which has elastic put on the legs so it's easier to put on, or a fitted diaper that has velcro or snaps.

I have used Bummis before (I used them almost exclusively before we went to only wool. They are wonderful covers and I never had a problem with them, highly recommened!!
