Do you like your job? Most of the time
What's your title? CCIP Director
How many hours per week do you work? I'm here 50 hours a week at least (and take stuff home sometimes) and I take and hour for lunch. How many hours I actually work is relative to my online time
Do you like your boss? Most of the time. Lots of people wonder how we manage to work for him, but he's a lot nicer to his direct employees than he is to others. Is it a he or a she? he
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? No thanks!
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? Not really. Everyone once in a while our department secretary and I will do something on the weekend, but that is rare. Where I used to work I did and I'm still good friends with a few of those people 3 1/2 years after I quit.

Do you like your job? What's your title? Not really. Fire Protection Engineer
How many hours per week do you work? 40
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? He's a he and he's ok. I don't talk to him much since he's in Minnesota and i'm in Baltimore. I don't think he's involved enough with what I'm doing but that's because he's not here and he never responds to emails.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? No but other employees do when he's in town.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? I used to but once I got married and got pregnant I was excluded from the group. Most of them are single or married without kids.
One secretary used to live up the street from me so I've seen her on weekends a couple of times. Just at her house or our kids b-day parties.

Do you like your job? I enjoy the work I do, when I have work that is. It's just everything else I hate about this place - the boredom, the boss, and the boss' kids. Perhaps if I had more to do and one of the bosses was to "phase herself out" like she told me she was going to to 5 years ago, then MAYBE I'd like it here. I might even be able to handle the boredom if I didn't have her to listen to on a daily basis.
What's your title? Office Manager
How many hours per week do you work? Now that depends on how you look at it. I am here for 40 hours a week but I probably only do about 3-4 hours worth of actual work each week (sometimes more when it's the end of the month).
Do you like your boss? :lol2:
Is it a he or a she? I have one of each and they are married to each other which makes the work day interesting when they decide to fight. I do deal more directly with the wife than the husband.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? I'd rather go to the dentist and have teeth drilled.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? No. There's only me, the bosses and the mechanic here at the shop/office. I hardly see the field guys and the ones that I do are usually the bosses' kids and once again, I'd rather have teeth drilled than hang out with them.

Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?

Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?

Do you like your job? What's your title? I LOVE my job! I am a Category Manager for an office products company, which basically means I am in charge of running my category - introducing new products, making sure the financial goals are met, and updating executives on key initiatives.
How many hours per week do you work? I only work 40, but that is because I have made the decision that my family is more important than work and my boss has no problem with that. He knew that before I came on board so it has never been an issue. He will actually apologize if he has to call me at home. Other people in this position work 50-60 hours.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? Yes, I like my boss. It is a he. He stays out of my way as long as I get my job done and I feel he is fair in what he requests.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? I hardly talk to him here at work so no I don't socialize with him outside of work.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? I am very good friends with a coworker and we socialize somtimes outside of work. I threw her a baby shower and she comes to our house every once in awhile. Other than that, I don't socialize outside of work with co-workers. I prefer to keep things separate.

Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? There are two partners in the business, a he and a she. She is very lovely and personable, he is the only male amongst 10 female staff and one of those is his wife. He is a very quiet reserved person. He's OK
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? No
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? When I first started a group of us went out for a meal, I have called in on one colleague for coffee. Other than that no we don't socialise outside of work. I still do with some of my colleagues from my previous job.

Do you like your job? What's your title? Well, I just started and have only worked two days. I think that once I learn everything I am going to be extremely bored and have a lot of internet time. My title is On-site Manager.
How many hours per week do you work? 40 hours
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? I love my boss. Actually, I took less money because I really wanted to work for her. She is a she.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? I just started so don't know if I will. I acutally have socialized with her prior to working for her because she is a friend of my mother.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? No, not yet. Don't know if I will.

How many hours per week do you work? 40 hours
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? My boss is great. We get along really well and have known each other for a long time. My boss is a woman.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? Yep. We all sort of socialize outside of work as well, we all relocated to this area so no one really knows anyone around here so we tend to do a lot of things together.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? Yep, see above. :)

Do you like your job? What's your title?
I'm a Nursing Home Administrator, running a care and research facility dedicated to persons with Alzheimer's Disease. I like it ok.. it's very demanding, which has resulted in my having some difficulty finding the right balance between work and motherhood.
How many hours per week do you work?
Just 40 - 42. I generally refuse to stay late!
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she?
Very much! It is a he. For the most part, he's quite understanding about my motherly responsibilities (he's a family man himself)
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?
No, only on a rare occasion. I was invited to and attended his daughter's Bat Mitzvah a few months ago, and he keeps mentioning going out for Happy Hour, but we haven't done that yet.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?
Only on rare occasions.. usually to celebrate something or say good-bye to an employee leaving.

Do you like your job? What's your title?
It's OK. I'm a senior production editor. I like the freedom of not having anyone really watching you, and I like not having to be on the phone. But I'm 35 miles from home, so the commute is really getting to me.
How many hours per week do you work?
I'm in the office 4 days a week, so 32? I "work from home" on Mondays, which is a nice perk to have. They have this option for those back from maternity leave, and you get the benefit for a year once you return.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she?
Yes. He's so laid back. He's very understanding when it comes to family.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?
Nope. When work is over, I'm en route to home.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?
Only at an occassional wedding. I'd rather be home with my family than sticking around to go out after work. I was the same way, though, before marriage and my little girl.

How many hours per week do you work? Between 40 and 45.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? My boss is a man and yes, I like him. He's very understanding when I need to leave early to pick up Maya from day care or to take her to appointments (not that I do it often).
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? Nope.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? Nope.

Do you like your job? What's your title?
I love my career! I'm an associate at a management consulting company so my job changes depending on the assignment. Assignments last anywhere from a few days to long-term. I've had my current assigment for almost 2 years on one project and 1.5 years on another.
How many hours per week do you work?
We're just required to work the total number of hours on a monthly basis- say for example, 160 hours for x month. So some weeks I work less and some I work more as long I get the minimum requirement. But if there's nothing much going on, I try to stay uniform and put in my 40.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she?
I don't typically like to use the word "boss" because our business is very fluid and I don't report to just one person and my managers change depending on the assignment. Currently, I've got a program manager, a task lead and I also have another manager who takes care of my administrative stuff (salary actions and assessments). I'm pretty much on equal footing with these people so I never really have to ask "permission" for anything. My program manager and admin managers are males (both older with kids), my task lead is female (single, mid 30s, no kids). I know it's not part of the question but I've had the most supportive male managers in the last few years. I actually have had the hardest time relating to my current task lead because we have nothing in common!
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?
We have so many office functions- both lunches and happy hours that the company pays for so I don't feel the need to go beyond that!
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?
I really need to make more time with my co-workers because I like most of the people I work with. This Friday we're having a "no talking about work" dinner. Doesn't happen very often but I always have a good time.

Do you like your job? What's your title?
My title is Compliance Officer. I like my job for the most part. Sometimes it's hard always being the "bad guy" and telling people what they're doing wrong. :(
How many hours per week do you work?
50 or so, some at night/weekends, most at the office.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she?
I generally like and respect my boss, who is a she. She has a 6 year old and she respects family time, etc. We have the same kind of sense of humor, so that certainly helps.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?
Not really. We have lunch once and a while, but that's about it. I like a little space in that relationship!
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?
Some of them. I don't really socialize with people in my area, but I'm friendly with others. It's hard time find time to socialize these days.

How many hours per week do you work? 35-40, depending how busy I am.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? Yes, I have a terrific boss. She is also a mom and is a wonderful mentor.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? On occassion. Our children are 3 months apart and we always talk about weekend BBQ's but they don't always pan out.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? A few of them on occassion but not very often. We do lunch together a lot though.

How many hours per week do you work? 40+ (sometimes)
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? I'm liking her less and less these days.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? No, although occasionally there are dinners with the buyers, but I usually don't go.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? Very rarely, but this weekend I'm going to a co-workers surprise birthday dinner.

Do you like your job? What's your title? My job is okay, if I have to work I'm glad this is what I do, and I love Saint Barnabas, but I would rather stay home. My title is Annual Fund and Database Coordinator
How many hours per week do you work? 22.5: 15 in the office, and I'm supposed to work 7.5 from home but I never ever do. If you factor in how much of my office time I spend online, I probably work negative hours.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? I had 2 fantastic bosses, both she's, BOTH quit while I was on maternity leave! My director, a VERY close friend (so I thought) called me while on leave to tell me about the VP leaving (I had grown very fond of her over 4 years), then the director left 5 weeks before I returned and NEVER TOLD ME-I found out the day I showed up for work. She hasn't returned my call or email, but I know she is going through a lot, so I'm still open to her friendship whenver she's settled. Right now we have a psudo-manager originally from another dept.-I've got 7 yrs of fundraising experience, she's got 7 months, but I'm part time and not able to fill in, so it's pretty awkward. Our new VP starts in Sept. My old bosses were very supportive of my work arrangement, so we'll have to see if the new regime will accept my hours and stuff.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? I used to. :(
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? Not really, although I really like the people I work with, we just don't end up going out.

Do you like your job? What's your title?
Sometimes  It's not what I had planned on doing, but pays too well to switch to something else. I'm a paralegal for a small medical malpractice defense law firm.
How many hours per week do you work?
I work 32 hours a week in the office and *if* I need to do work from home on the weekends or on Wednesdays, then I can. For example, I usually input all my time at home, instead of wasting good billable time with that in the office.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she?
It depends on the day and his mood. He's generally VERY easy to work with and deal with, but there are times when I think he gets upset when something comes up. For example, he thinks that if Jackson gets sick, then my IL's who live right down the street from me should be able to watch him...not me, which makes no sense because he doesn't say things like that to anyone else. I don't think it should matter if my IL's live by me or not...I'm the mother and that's final.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?
Not really. The office does frequent happy hours, but I'm just wanting to go home and get Jackson after being in the office all day long. I actually have people at home who I want to hang out with ;) .
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?
Sometimes...I'm pretty good friends with the girl right across from me, but we live so far away from each other that it becomes hard.

Do you like your job? What's your title?
My motto with my job is "the devil you might might be better than the devil you don't know." It's not bad...but there are days I want to scream and cry too. It seems my coworkers and I all take turns feeling that way, so as long as we can balance one another out, all is good. My title is senior manager, marketing programs.
How many hours per week do you work?
45-50, sometimes a lot more if something's going on...but unless it involves travel, the extra time is at home after the kids are in bed
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she?
it's a she, and she's okay...she is understanding which is the most helpful thing and the reason I won't leave...she's got 2 young kids too, which is a big help...the younger one is 2 days older than Aidan
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss?
somewhat - a few months ago I went to her house for a big party with tons of work and non-work people (think jello shots and a shot luge!)
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers?
as much as we can...which mostly is long lunches (usually w/ alcohol  ) and as many happy hours as the spouses will allow...we also have some big work events which mean we're holed up somewhere together so that's always fun...my boss and her boss are usually out with us at these times too...I honestly don't know if I'd be as happy at my company if not for my coworkers - we've been together about 3 yrs now - makes work much better!

Do you like your job? What's your title? I love what I do. I'm a doctor. I'm a chief resident in urology. This is my last year of residency and then I'm going to Baltimore to do a 2 year fellowship in pediatric urology.
How many hours per week do you work? I work about 50-60 hrs per week.
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? My boss is the chairman of the department. He's male. I don't really interact with him on a day-to-day basis. I work with a bunch of different urologists. Since I'm now the chief resident, I have several junior residents who are below me (in a way, I'm now the boss!). The chairman is fine. I get along with him pretty well and he doesn't interfere too much.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? Not really. He belongs to the same synagogue as we do so we sometimes see them there. Last year he invited us over for dinner after Yom Kippur (my husband graduated from the same residency program so we both know my chairman well). He came to our wedding.
Do you socialize outside of work with your co-workers? Sometimes. We have dinners about once a month which are free.

Do you like your job? What's your title? Depends on the day. No really, I like it at times, but there are many times that I am way over the drama that goes on daily. I am a litigation paralegal. We handle domestic issues and some criminal.....and trust me, it is ALL drama!
How many hours per week do you work? It depends on the week and what court I have that week. Sometimes it is 40 while other times it is 45+
Do you like your boss? Is it a he or a she? Once again it depends on the day....he is drama in and of himself and we are actually pretty good friends. I have worked for him for almost 5 years now and we have been through a lot together. There are plenty of days that I would love to kill him though because he likes to let me handle everything for him.
Do you socialize outside of work with your boss? Yes at times. We have been do ball games togeter, he came to our wedding and he has been to our house for a christmas party. We do go to luch all the time though.
