Hey everyone, I am hoping to get some input on this. I am about to start clomid this week. I am taking 200mgs on CD5. Doesn't that seem a little late? I have heard other people start on CD2 or 3? Does it make a difference? What have you all heard and if you did take clomid, what day did you start and did you get Pg? Any info would be helpful.

I started on CD the first time but they were going to put me on CD 5 the 2nd time but I already started on CD3 I've heard CD 3-7 *or* CD 5-9 :dunno:

I took clomid 50 mgs for two cycles. The first cycle it was CD3-7, and the second was CD4-8. I ovulated both cycles, but no pregnancy, probably because it also dries up cm. The next cycle, I didn't take any medication because I was having more testing done, and as a residual effect of the previous two clomid cycles, I ovulated late on my own, and now I'm 18 weeks pregnant with #1!! Hope you have just as good luck!

I didn't see this thread when you first started it, Ang, but I took Clomid on days 3-7 and got PG on my second cycle (combined with Gluc XR and IUI)

Thanks for all the replys. I ovulated but didn't get pg. I took clomid again this month and I am pretty sure I am not going to ovulate at all. No twinges or anything like before. I will be starting up injectables and IUI again next month. Also adding the Gluc XR to see what may happen.

Sorry you ovulated but didn't get pg! I took my clomid CD2-6 and didn't ovulate at all first time, but successfully did second time round on 100mg and got pregnant! I hope you get some luck this time round!
