Does anyone do this that can help me get started?

I am liscenced already and approved by the state I just need the contracts and the kids :)

:wavey: I don't do it, but I have a suggestion. I'd put flyers up at your local college if you have one. I'm always looking for them, since I have such a hard time finding babysitters.

I don't do it either..... but Hilary's idea is a good one .... or at your local supermarket or newspaper?

Definitely post anywhere it's free. I see the ads at the grocery store all the time.

My mom has had an in home daycare forever, she's been doing it for about 24 years and has been licensced for about 15 of those. Once you go through all the licensing you should become a member of the association for child development. They will then list you in their directory if you tell them how many of each age group you are currently accepting...I think their directory is called 4 c's or 4 seasons...sorry I can't remember for sure right now. My mom gets a LOT of business through this... The parents of the kids you watch can "rate" you and this helps you get even more business.
