Can you throw the white diapers into the wash with brightly colored ones? Do they bleed?

I think it depends on the brand, and subsequently what they're made of.

So, I guess I'll have to wash them seperately or how else will I know?! I ordered some Wonderoos and I think I got one in red (haven't received them yet, so I don't remember). That one I'll have to wash seperately I guess, but it seems crazy for just one diaper. I guess I should have thought about that before!

I would wash them a few times before using with like colored items before using to get any potential dye out. Before washing with the rest of your diapers, you could check to see if the color runs. I have dark colored diapers that I wash with the others, but it took a while to get the color to stop running (discovered the hard way when I tinted all the whites they were washed with :( . I became more careful after that!).

With diapers made of PUL (not laminated fabric), they do not run. I have washed all my Wonderoos right out of the mail with all my others on hot with no troubles. Now cotton diapers I would be very wary of for the reasons mentioned above. If you're concerned, run the kitchen sink full of hot hot hot water and put the diaper in and leave it for a bit to see if it's running.

PS. The diapers *finally* came in and are leaving here this weekend to you Brandi!

Hey guys - thanks so much for the info!
Jennie - cool! Baby won't be here until the end of August (or so we think) so it's not a problem at all! I'm excited to get them!
