Jackson loves fruit: grapes (cut up), oranges, apples (cut up/peeled), watermelon in chunks, canned fruit salad (esp peaches & pineapple). We're trying more veggies with him - he likes sliced cucumber, raw broccoli and tomatoes.

He'll eat crackers, graham wafers, dry cereals (Cheerios), cheese of any kind (cottage & cheddar are favourites), sliced ham, peanut butter sandwiches, and he really loves pasta with tomato sauce (homemade or Chef Boyardee).

Just keep trying different things - kids this age don't seem to eat much, and may stick to one or two foods for a LONG time. Don't sweat it, they eat enough. :)

We've been trying to search for some alternatives to our regular goldfish and teddy grahams here too! LOL

Chloe has recently discovered raisins..........and LOVES them. Just today we also tried some Craisins (they are dried cranberries) and she loved those too. Just make sure you get ones with no added sugar and they are pretty healthy.

If we are home and snacks don't have to be so "portable" Chloe also LOVES yogurt (I like the fruit on the bottom ones), sliced up fruit, and carrots and celery with dip. ANYTIME she can dip something she is happy! LOL

I just read your other thread about Pediasure. We give that to Dylan with his bedtime snack.
He loves breadsticks, crackers, apples, toddler heinz cereal cookies, apple sauce and yogurt.
Dylan doesn't each much else.

I make my own little trail mix for Jack: raisins, chex (or any dry cereal), & nuts (usally walnuts or pecans). He loves it!

Aidan loves dried cereal, esp. chex. So I usually mix some of the whole bran chex with raisins for him. Otherwise, anything with dip is a hit....broccoli, grape tomoatoes, red or green peppers, cucumbers. Any fruit or yogurt (we buy YoBaby or YoPals) or fruit cups if fresh fruit isnt available in the house.
Since he's been an esp. picky eater lately, I've been giving him things like oatmeal, veggie chick nuggets, tofu dogs, and pasta for snacks.

I usually give Zoe cut up fruit for snacks... I've recently started giving her "Smart Dogs" as a snack food... Basically just Soy hot dogs cut up... And there are also these scrumptious Soy Chips I buy for her. I tend to stay away from "junk" food items.. but I did also find this organic Cheddar puff with no hydrogenated fat that I'll let her have on occasion.

I make sugar-free, whole wheat pancakes and freeze them. Brigit likes to eat them cold and plain, so they are a good snack on the go. She also likes them cold with jam on them.

Otherwise, we pretty much stick to bananas, satsumas, grapes, bagels, cheese 'n' crackers, whole wheat english muffins, tofu dogs, tofu "cheese", baby carrots, raisins and plain yogurt.

How bad is your two year old about choking? Mine loves nuts of any kind. I was terrified to give them to him at first, but he does really well. We just make him sit down to eat them and then we sit almost on top of him. Nuts and dried fruits are great snacks, though!

I chop up the nuts into small pieces, pecans & walnuts break apart very easy so that's what he gets most of the time. I also (as does his daycare teacher) watch very carefully.
