Does anyone let their toddler have a pillow at night? How old were they when they first started using one?

Trey uses one. He started using one around 13 months.

Caroline started using a toddler-sized pillow when she was around 16 months old, because I was always finding her in her crib with the blanket wadded up under her head to elevate it, or laying on a pile of stuffed animals, etc. We just recently (April?) got her a "big girl pillow" for beginning the transition out of the crib to a big bed.

We gave Sierra one when she moved out of her crib (around 16 months).

Sean doesn't have one yet. I think he'd probably like one, but I'm afraid it will give him the extra leverage to climb out of the crib. So we'll probably wait until he's actually not in the crib anymore.

Isabelle (2 1/2) just started using a pillow when she moved into her big girl bed a week ago.

Aidan started off using a VERY flat one in his crib when he was 13 mos or so b/c he was used to sleeping w/ pillows in our bed. Now that he is in a big kid bed, he uses a feather pillow.

Alex has always had a sleeping wedge due to acid reflux as a baby. I've never removed it. He also uses a little travel size pillow and has since about 1 year.

Alexia started using a super flat pillow when she was 18 mos. I think. it was one of ours that was really worn & old.

But a couple mos. after that, I got her a toddler sized one from One Step Ahead with her name stitched on the pillow case. She still uses it fine and is still in her crib. :) She's 27 mos. now, btw.

Since Cameron slept with us for his first year, I don't really remember when he started using a pillow. Probably around 6-8 months. Most mornings I would wake up and he would be on one of our pillows, even though we tried to keep them away.

When he moved to his room (first a home-made bed on the floor at 13 months, then a toddler bed at 14 months), we gave him pillows. He loves them! In fact, he won't sleep without them. if they are on the floor, he picks them up before getting into bed and "sets" up his bed before he will get in. It is so funny to watch!
