View Full Version : Where can I find these?

Okay, so I'm tired of picking Cheerios up off the floor (or, even worse, stepped on Cheerios  ). It's the girls favorite snack, and they'd carry them around all day. I've seen these little containers (I think even, at one point, Cheerios made them!) where it's about an inch think, 3" wide, and has a plastic lid that only part of it snaps up and down so that they can get at the snack. The base is usually a color, and the lid is see-through, with *something* on it (my gf got one for her son's birthday that had Thomas the Tank Engine on it). I know they could still spill it, but I'm hoping it wouldn't be as likely!

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Seen them? Where? Can I buy them on-line (I'm lazy!)?

Thanks!

Oh darn... I got one of those as a freebie handout at Walmart. It was clear on the Bottom and the lid was a color. It also had the snap section to get at the snack.

The cheerios one doesn't seal as well and is flimsy plastic. It's totally yellow.

Do you have Walmarts up there?

We totally do, Lette, but I've never seen them (or maybe I've never looked in the right place...any idea where to check?)!

So, these:

Don't seal well, you say? Darn! (Also, any idea how much they should be?

Thanks!

BabiesRUs usually has them. I think they are $3-4.

Jenn... I'd check in the home section, near all the towels, containers and kitchen stuff. That's the middle of our store.

and yup, I have one of those yellow ones and maybe it's just mine, but it pops open alot. Also, there's air gaps on top, so cheerios get stale quickly.

I agree. The cheerios ones pop open more than all my other ones. I found a different one (that wasn't cheerios- but same design ) that stayed shut pretty good at Target.

Our BRU had one this week that was called "cheerio sport" and it looked like a sports bottle and the top popped open with a hole big enough to pour a few cheerios into your hand.

Janelle does really really well with little individual sized boxes of them, we just refill the same box over and over every morning and she sits on her couch and eats them.

I had one of those snack cups and the cheerios got stale very quickly in them. Whenver we go out I just use a ziploc baggie.

I just use a ziplock bag, too. It's easier to shove into the bag, IMO. :)

I remember a while back getting one at either bru or target.. and it was made by sassy. It sounds like the description you gave but the ones I saw did not have any designs on top. The lid definitely stayed on good but occasionally ally did spill that one too. I definitely know what you mean?!!?
