We've been giving Lauryn some Gummy Vites the last few weeks. Before then, we were sneaking in some Poly-Vi-Sol into her drinks. She loves the Gummy Vites but I just read on the latest Oprah magazine that an independent vitamin testing company found that there are traces of lead in the Gummy Vites. Anyone else know of this?

I had planned on posting this last Tuesday and forgot! Our ped gave us a printed up article about this at their check up Tuesday, they were giving them out to all their patients! This happens to not be the brand we are giving Janelle right now, but we have given her those in the past.

I gave Eliot the gummy bear vitamins a couple of times but they seemed to make him hyper :dunno: so we went back to the Flinstone kind.

I buy Gummy Vites so I just checked mine and thank goodness they have a 2006 exp. date, which the company says tests out OK. I'll be watching for the verification. And fortunately, I guess, I don't remember to give them to her every day!
