Anyone from Virginia?

I'm a transplant originally from NJ, and moved to Northern Virginia 5 years ago. Last year we made the move to Virginia Beach :)

Born in Key West but grew up in Virginia Beach (Princess Anne HS Grad). My mom is currently a real estate broker in VA Beach.

I was living in Northern VA before moving out West!

I live in Northern Virginia also, born and raised. I agree with you Lissy...it's way to expensive up here. I'm trying to talk DH into moving to Atlanta to be closer to my family. Although I'm from N. Virginia, I have no real attachment to it.

I am in NoVA, too. I'm a military brat - so I grew up all over. I came out here for law school and plan to stay. We're in Alexandria right now and looking to buy soon.

I live a half hour east of Fredericksburg, VA...we've only been here 3 months :)

I'm a NoVa girl!!! In Alexandria right now, but probably moving soon.... MAYBE into DC, MAYBE into Arlington... HAVE to be within walking distance to a metro because my DH is going to work on the Hill.

I LOVE it here!!! I'm from Boston and DH is from NYC. We both miss home, but we love it here (we both came here for college at GW ~ never left) and are looking forward to raising our family here.

I graduated from Broad Run in 1995 so I probably don't know her. You can ask her if she remembers me, though. My maiden name was Pyle.

My mom's originally from NJ, and we've got a house on LBI.

Someone once called us "poor orphans" because we're not in the Farm, the Village, Broadlands, or anything else. We're off Waxpool Road, down near Carisbrooke and Broadlands.

I lived in NJ for the better part of 30 years, and would you believe I've never been to LBI? DH can't believe how far the beach is from here...it's killing him.
