*My anniversary on April 21st and June 1st when we returned to live to Mexico City

*My job. I had found the greatest job in the world but unfortunatelly I had to quit to come back to Mexico City

*Not being able to pass the high-school exam that I have to pass ASAP

*Thank God no

*My $80.00dlls glasses. A real bargain :D

What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
*Left my job of 2 1/2 years and my boyfriend of almost 5 years and started over.
Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
* I kept most of it. My new years resolution was to lose weight which i did. Not all i wanted to but i'm still working on it.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
*My Best Friend. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in September.
Did anyone close to you die?
*A good friend of mine did in April from a Heart Condition
What countries did you visit?
*Unfortunetely none.
What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
*A Calmer Existence would be nice. :lol:
What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
* 2 dates for me: July 1st (Canada day!!) when my boyfriend first kissed me(and our official first day of dating), and November 21st to 30th (the week i found out i was pregnant and then miscarried)
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
*Starting over. New job, wonderful new boyfriend and happiness i haven't had in years.
What was your biggest failure?
*A few things i would rather not go into here.

*Just my miscarriage.

*Nothing i can think of right now.

*My boyfriends, through everything that was going on he was my rock and went through with me and helped me through it. He is amazing!! :hb:

*Moving back into the city. I had been living 20mins outside the city.

What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
*Started living my life for ME and nobody else.

* I don't make New Year resolutions....So you can't keep em if you don't make em

*Nope...but my friend got pregnant.

*Our friend died in May from alcoholism....she was only 23

*September 1 through November 10th...my husband was in Tennessee looking for work. It was the hardest two months of my life. It is not easy living with your MIL when your husbands not around.

*I found ME again, and I lost some weight.

*Letting our debt get out of control.

*My husband..He did a complete 180 while he was in TN. That made our relationship soo much stonger.

What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Uprooted our lives and took a 4 month trip to see Europe.

Nope.... had quit smoking only to start again in Europe.

April 14th the day we came home and September 1st - our anniversary and the day we finally moved back out of my parents house to our own place

Making it through 4 months without seeing family & friends and losing 30 lbs walking all over Europe

not enjoying the first part of our trip due to homesickness

i have a constant illness but nothing that I can't control the suffering on (diabetes)

long black coat in Germany - will love it forever!

DH finally got back to school to finish after a 3 year hiatus (training to be a pilot)

What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Move twice in 5 months, have surgery twice in 2 months, have chemotherapy.
Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't usually make resolutions - I'm perfect as I am :lol:

No.
Did anyone close to you die?
No.
What countries did you visit?
We drove through the states on our way to Ontario.
What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
A successful pregnancy, a job I enjoy.

May 8th to September 16th. Began with being diagnosed with Complete Molar Pregnancy, which recurred twice, had chemotherapy, all in a new city knowing virtually no one.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not going mental.
What was your biggest failure?
Not sure.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes. Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia, that required chemotherapy. It sucks, I suggest you avoid it. :)
What was the best thing you bought?
Toyota Sienna minivan, our new house.

People at my old work; two OB's I had said insensitive things.
Where did most of your money go?
New house and van.

Turned 37. I worked and then was at home by myself, DH and Mason were at MIL's looking for work for DH.

Having a baby instead of a malignant tumour.

Casual. I am used to wearing a uniform for work, but not anymore.

Some things are beyond your control, you can only control how you react to them. "It is a wise man who does not grieve for trhe things which he has not, but rejoices for those things which he has - Epictetus."

With DH and Mason at home, then to SIL's, back home, then to MIL's for dinner.

I don't really have an opportunity to listen to music. I could put The Wiggles. We discovered them! :lol:

I am so out of touch with current events it isn't even funny. I am just glad something has finally happened in the Middle East that is good news for a change.

*Nope, didn't keep them, but I was on my way to losing weight whe I found out I was pg.

*No one real close, but a neighbor across the steet died in February.

What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
I had a baby
Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
*Nope, didn't keep them.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
*Me, Emma was born on July 24. Not to mention numberous friends.
Did anyone close to you die?
*No
What countries did you visit?
*None
What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
To have my house finally all painted. My own car would be nice too. :D

July 23 definately. my daughter was born that day
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Becoming a Mom. :D
What was your biggest failure?
Probably ending up with a c-section after pushing for over an hour

DH's. We was so great during my labour and delivery and he thought he would pass out :D .

*My friend Melissa had a boy on 7/9

*My aunt Dolly died of cancer (she'd had it for years), and my uncle Harry died in a car accident
