Any suggestions as to brands of prenatals? I remember a similar thread at UB. Are there any differences between them?

I use a cheap no name brand that looks like Materna and has the same amounts of everything but is half the price. :)

Ditto. My OB said even flintstones are fine. Just make sure you have at least 400 mcgs of folic acid, and not too much (say, over 10,000) vitamin A. That's what my OB said... the rest is not as important, so whatever is in there is fine.

Before I became pg, I just took 1mg of folic acid. It's really all that you need to be taking at that point, and much cheaper than prenatals. Once, I was pg, I started taking generic prenatals. My Dr. said that just the folic acid was fine for the first several weeks of pg, as prenatals can aggravate morning sickness in many women.

Thanks for the comments... have been taking the Target brand. Funny that Flintstones were mentioned - my sister ended up taking those for a while b/c the prenatals upset her stomach.
