In case anyone knows what I am talking about: Its the new one near the intersection of Roswell Road and the Chatahoochie. Not Azalea park near the canoes shoot the hooch thing, but the newer one on the other side of Roswell Road where they had the movies last summer.

I'm going to need directions as I live 90 minutes south and I don't know where I'm going.

No. I don't remember. But the directions are super easy to follow and you really can't get lost. I'll see if I can find it online.

How long it will last is completely up to us... so if you want to bring some snacks or lunch, that would be great! And since it will probably be hot, please remember to bring some water. I'll try to remember to bring some blue & white balloons, but if you don't see them, we should be in one of the covered picnic table areas.

I wont be able to go. Its such a long drive id have to drive down the day before and stay the night to be there for 10.

We will try to be there... Hopefully the weather will cooperate :)

I am hoping to still make it, but my week plans have changed a little bit. My grandfather passed away around 1 in the morning on Tuesday, so we'll be having a funeral on Friday. The only thing that might stop me from coming is that I have some family coming in to town from CA. I think things will be back to normal on Saturday though.
I'm really wanting to meet all of you!! :)

Thanks Sheila! It's okay though...he was really sick (parkinsons and dementia)and is much better off now. We were all just waiting around for this.... As sad as that sounds.
I found out my family is going to be in town until Tuesday, so I will probably still get to come!

We had fun! Next time, we'll need to plan to be near a pool, though, since it was way too hot!

Hans and Aiden were sick...man I wish I could have gone.

It was great meeting everyone and I had a ton of fun, but I agree with Sheila and next time we need to make it a pool party!

I agree with that as well...I know Indian Springs has a beach that you can play at with trees and picnic areas...and Dausett Trails Animal Rescue is just up the road...we could take the kids there to see the animals...just a suggestion.

Yeah...getting over an upper respiratory infection that Hans brought back from Maryland...I'm just about over it and Aiden's still got his snotty nose. When we're ready to get together again...I'll send the info. It'll be good as it's only about 45 minutes south of you Atlanta girls...so we'd be meeting you half way :biggrin:

Thanks for the invitation girls. It was so good to see you all again, and to meet some new ATL girls too. As a working mother this is really my only opportunity for any type of playgroup. I'm so glad I was able to go.
