For those who have Baby Einstein movies, how often do you play them??

I feel like maybe I'm letting Katie watch Baby Bach (her favorite) too much...she adores it and it will ALWAYS calm her down and buy me a few minutes to do something. Now that I'm on this crazy pumping schedule, it really helps me keep her occupied while I pump.

Katie usually watches Baby Mozart 1 time in the morning. (and then other toddler TV scattered throughout the day when its on & she's paying attention)

Dylan watches his Baby Einsteins videos or The Wiggles first thing in the morning while I get ready for work, it works great. He probably watches them one more time during the day at my grandparents and then a little more at night while I get dinner started. He watches it while in his exersaucer most of the time though so he's also playing at the same time.

N&E never watch videos. I just never think of it
When Aidan was Katie's age, he watched 2x/day......in the morning when we were getting ready for work, and in the evening usually when we were eating dinner.

At her peak (3-6 months old), Kassidy was watching a Baby Einstein video about once a day. Now at 11 months, she will maybe watch one 2x a week.

Aaron watches them when he's being extremely fussy and nothing else calms him down. Sometimes it feels like he's always watching them (like 3x/day!) and other times it is more like 1x/day. But they really really work so I don't mind too much. At least they are a little bit educational!

When she was younger, I'd put it on once a day, so that I could cook dinner, or do housechores..

Jackson watches his when I need a few minutes to get stuff done, so he watches one on most days but not all...usually if we are out for most of the day I'll put one on for him so I can unpack his bag, make dinner, go through the mail, etc.

Brooke started watching BE at 4 months and she still watches at least one to three a day, depending on how long she will sit still in the exersaucer. She used to watch them religiously, but now that she is walking, she doesn't like to sit still for very long. I am a BE finatic. I can't stand all the self promotion Julie does on them, but I truly believe in them, and would recommend to anyone. I think they are educational, and have no problem with letting her learn everyday (while I do the dishes, or anything else).

Cameron watches them anywhere from 0-2 times a day. It really depends on his mood, if he's crabby and i need to cook/eat dinner, then i'll put it on for him. Usually i just put it on when i need to get something done and he's not working with me.

I let Parker watch them along with Bear and Jo Jo's Circus all the time. Usually he gets up at 6:30 and watches Bear. Then sometime in the early morning he watches Bear on tape...then in the afternoon he will watch something. That is about it...maybe one more here or there. I have to do PT with Parker and TV is the best thing to distract him.

Right now, 2 months, our guy just likes to listen to the music. We have Baby Bach and Mozart. But my cats love watching the DVD, they get right up in the screen and chase the things across. It's really funny to watch.

When Jason was young, he used to watch Baby Mozart after his bath before he went to bed every night. It always helped him relax before bed, and he'd get upset if we didn't watch it. And because it was part of our nighttime routine, I wouldn't let him watch it any other part of the day. He'd watch Blue's Clues or something else during the day.

Me too!! I have some videos for her but she has just never watched them. I don't even think I have ever opened any of them. She doesn't show much interest in the TV so maybe that is why I never think of it.
But by no means do I think it's bad for them Sarah. If your baby enjoys it then I would let her watch it as much as it keeps her happy!!

Trey usually watches one later in the morning, before lunch (while i'm getting lunch ready for us), and one after lunch (while I'm cleaning up and he's getting settled down for a nap)

We have only watched them a few times so far. I think we have watched the Language Nursery three times total and we have watched Baby Bach twice
