What was your gain on first vs. second pregnancy?

I gained 50 lbs the last time and I'm hoping not to do that again! I looked at my old chart and at 16 weeks, I was 103 lbs. This time I'm at 104.

What about you??

I gained 28 pounds each time. Kind of weird huh?

Well, for me my weight "stayed the same" from beginning to end... as in not preg at 130, and nine months preg 130. But after birth, within a few months, I gained 30 afterwards, then 2nd pregnancy I gained like 30 again about 2 months after she was here again!

I gained only 24 pounds with my first pregnancy.

This time around, so far I seem to be following the same...as in not gaining much. I think this time around I won't gain alot either. I guess we'll see. I'm still too early to really tell.

45 the first time and 40 the second.

45 both times!

I lost it all plus more the first time, and I still haven't lost it all this time yet! :eek:

I gained 30 lbs the first time, lost 32 afterwards, and now I'm about 2 lbs heavier than I was at this point last time. So I'll probably end up at the exact same weight by the time I deliver.

I gained 35 lbs when I was pregnant with Morgan and I hope to only gain 30 or so with this pregnancy- although I'm not going to stress about it! :)

I gained about 22-24 with all three of my pregnancies and most it was caused by water retention towards the end. Afterwards I was lucky and lost all the "baby weight" plus some - now I'm just working on what I had before my pregnancies. :lol:

I gained 35 lbs with my first. 25 with my second. Strange how it works out too, as my second weight 1/2 a lb more than my first.

I gained 22lbs with my first, and with this one it seems about the same so far... have to wait and see..

52 lbs with my first (girl) and 35 lbs (boy)with my second. It took me 6 months to lose all the weght after my first and one month after my second.

Well, at my 28 week appt. the doctor said I was almost exactly at the same weight gain that I was at 28 weeks with Carter. I'm still hoping that I won't gain the 50 pounds that I did with Carter!

My weight gain has been exactly the same.
