We live in a one-bedroom condo, so that colonial is looking really nice and roomy to me! :aok: It's on the market and once it sells, we will be looking for something much larger. Although houses like that colonial one are $1 million + out here. My little condo is listed for $335K.

lisa - that is really a cute nursery. good job :aok:
thanks everyone for the compliments on my house. i really do love it, i paid my dues in crapola apartments until i was 35, and this is my first and hopefully, only house.

It sure does suck to share walls, doesn't it? It sounds like you did pay your dues. I can't wait to have a single family house where I can blast my surround sound speakers so the walls shake, or darn it, I'd just like to be able to vaccuum at 6 am sometimes. :)

Copied and pasted from UB...
You can't see us very well, but here
we are in front of the new house.
The whole living room part of the house
is hidden behind those trees.

http://www.rigsbyworld.com/house/family_room.jpg
The wall with the TV is plain because we're planning
on getting a big wall unit for an entertainment center,
so we don't want to put stuff on the walls yet because
we don't know exactly where it'll have to go.
http://www.rigsbyworld.com/house/fam_arch.jpg
The red of the couches is to incorporate the red in
the kitchen window treatments. I promise it doesn't
look Christmas-y IRL like I think it might in these pics.

The kitchen... Through that arch is the office. It's a mess.

I love everyone's houses!!!! Ginia, I am totally enamored with yours!!!
I don't have a picture of the outside of ours but imagine a brownstone walk-up. There are 4 units in our building and ours is on the first floor (2 bed / 2 bath). We have a private entrance that are french doors. Sorry the pics aren't great. I have a hard time getting a full room angle!
This is the family room/dining room/kitchen when you walk in. We have a new painting above the fireplace and have rearranged the furniture but you get the idea

Thanks everyone:)
Nocona ~ that room is on the third floor and is my office right now. I have my writers desk in front of those windows.
Manda ~ Which specs would you like? Let me see...It's about 5600 sqft, built in 1874, there are twelve foot ceilings on the 1st & 2nd floor, 4 full bathrooms, 4 car garage, 11 bedrooms, and it sits on almost 4 acres.
Leslie ~ Actually, if you all are interested enough, I'll sell it to the first person to offer me $350,000.00  If I had to guess, I would say in the $500's for the area. We live in a very small community...600 permanent residents. We have it insured for replacement cost @ 3.5 mil.
