Ours was in Playadel Carmen, Mexico...loved it!! Never thought I'd like to visit Mexico, but our travel agent talked us in to it, I'm so glad she did :). It was my DH's first experience going anywhere south and tropical...he wants to go back now!!

We never had a honeymoon :(.......

We romped around Western Europe for 6 weeks. We hit just abouet every country. It was great.

We honeymooned in St. Thomas and St. John....

We went on a 3 day Caribbean cruise and then went to Disneyworld for a few days.

We cruised.....WONDERFUL!! I would do it again in a minute :)

We honeymooned in Hawaii!! :) 1 week in Maui and then 1 week in Kaui. Totally amazing.....truly a paradise! :)

Hawaii here too. 3 nights on Oahu, 4 on Hawaii where I got to swim with dolphins, and 5 nights in Maui.

Then we spent 3 nights in Las Vegas on our way back to slowly reacclimate us to the time change.

We went to England. We spent 4 days in London and then 5 at a resort in the courtryside. It was November so it was raining all the time and got dark at 4, but all the tourist spots were empty.

We hit Munich, Germany (where we bought our car & spent 3 nights); drove the car into Rothenburg, Germany where we spent 2 nights; Thionville, France & then dropped it off in Paris, where we spent one night. We then took the bullet train into London & spent 5 nights there. It was a WONDERFUL two weeks. :)

We cruised! It was awesome!! :aok: We did Cozumel in Mexico, Ochos Rios in Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands. :) Wonderful wonderful time!

We spent two weeks in Moorea, Bora Bora and Tahiti. It was amazing- I would LOVE to go back!

We went to Healdsburg, California. It's a beautiful little town in the middle of Sonoma Wine Country. We rented a cottage on a 25 acre vineyard. It was VERY romantic, and we loved it there so much, we went back 3 years later (this past September) for vacation again! There were day trips to San Francisco, Mendicino and Napa Valley mixed in too, but we preferred our private cottage! ;)

i was 4 months pregnant at the time and we had just taken a vacation to disney 2 months before the wedding. but, it was nov '01, the travel business was in a slump so we went to vegas on the cheap! we spent 5 nights at the mgm grand. i don't even gamble and still had a good time.

We spent 1 week in Ixtapa, Mexico. It was beautiful and we had a wonderful time! I would go there again!

How weird, Karri! We spent a week in Ixtapa, too! Did you go right after your wedding? I think our wed dates are really close; wouldn't that be crazy if we were there at the same time? :)

We spent a week in Orlando Florida

1 week at Sandals Ocho Rios in Jamaica. We absolutely loved it and are hoping to go back in the next couple of years :)

How weird, Karri! We spent a week in Ixtapa, too! Did you go right after your wedding? I think our wed dates are really close; wouldn't that be crazy if we were there at the same time? :)wow!! Yes we did..we were there from teh day after our wedding (10/7/00) to 10/13. When were you there? Where did you stay?? We had a timeshare ...i think it was called Pacifica. It was the resort where they had the restauraunt on top of the cliff and you had to take the gondola up to it.

We took a 7-day cruise to Bermuda..... stopped at Hamilton and St. George in Bermuda.

We went to Disney for six nights.

We didn't really have one. We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast one night and then both took the week off of work/school to relax at home. One day we will go SOMEWHERE! However, my DH doesn't like to fly at all. :(

Haven't had a honeymoon yet. :( We did get married in Las Vegas, though. Having the family around ain't a honeymoon! :nono:

We spent 7 days in Paris and a day in London. I would love to go back and spend more time in London.

We went to Jamaica, Sandals Dunn's River. It was great!! :up: Then we went to Panama for 10 days and visited several different areas. That was fun too. There are so many islands there. I had a great tan!! :)

I loved Sandals. We actually went over and had dinner at Sandal's Dunn's River the one night. I would highly recommend them to anyone and we are planning on going again :nod:

I loved Sandals too! Now we are thinking of going to Beaches (the family version of Sandals) in 2005 and taking our daughter. I was so happy with Sandals that I hope Beaches will be just as good!! :)

We honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for 8 days! We had such a wonderful time!

Another Hawaii honeymoon here. We spent five days in Maui, and it was fantastic. We plan to go again sometime and spend even more time there.

We spent a week in Bermuda !!! I could've stayed there all summer. We stayed at Stonington Beach sort of a semi-all inclusive and part of the Bermuda culinary institute, so the food was just amazing. Plus there was never more than 5 people on our beach (Elbow Beach) which was great for relaxation !!

We went to California. We went on a 4 day short cruise that went to Ensenada Mexico and Catalina island. Then we rented a red mustang convertible and drove all over - went to Disneyland, San Diego, all over L.A., then up the coast to Monterrey and then San Francisco. It was great and I want to go back and see more of California.

I loved Sandals too! Now we are thinking of going to Beaches (the family version of Sandals) in 2005 and taking our daughter. I was so happy with Sandals that I hope Beaches will be just as good!! :)Nicki ~ Me too! A visit to one of the "Beaches" resorts is what we have talked about as well!!! :) We would definately want to include our daughter too & I really have no doubts that it wouldn't be as good :) I'm hoping that will be our 2nd vacation with our daughter, as we're currently talking about going to Disney World sometime next year for our 1st family vacation.

We spent a week in Queensland, Austrailia. It was wonderful!

We were in Bali for 2 weeks. I was amazing. :)

Our belated (year and a half after the wedding) honeymoon was 11 days in Brazil--4 in the Amazon, 2 at Iguacu Falls, and 5 in Rio. It was an amazing trip, and we would love to go back, especially to the Amazon!

We spent 2 day's in the Acores and then flew to Portugal and drove through it for 7 day's.. I would skip Portugal and stay in the Acores, we would loooove to go back.

We spent 8 wonderful days in Alaska/Candada on a wonderful cruise. We loved every minute of it! We white water rafted, sea kayaked, whale watched and explored gold mines. The only downside was that the dogsled ride we reserved was cancelled at the last minute!

We started off by flying to Vegas for 3 days, then off to Maui for 5 and then we finished in Oahu for 2 days. Vegas and Maui were great - Oahu I could do without. I'm glad we went b/c we saw Pearl Harbor and the Punchbowl Crater, however it was CONCRETE ISLAND. It was like being in LA, or even more like being in Toyko (as I imagine it, I've never been....). I wouldn't change it though; it was magical!

We got married at sea the first week (on a cruise) then went by ourselves the second week on another cruise. The first week was Eastern Caribbean, but the family was with us. The second week we did the Western Caribbean.

We spent 10 days on Maui and loved every minute of it. :D

We were in Bali for 2 weeks. I was amazing. :)

We went to Aruba for our Honeymoon.

We were married in Berlin, and only had a few days for a honeymoon because I had to go back to the States. :( We took the train up to Kuehlungsborn, which is a nice seaside town on the Ostsee in what used to be East Germany. Being September it was too cold to swim, but we took long walks on the beach and in the park and are planning to go back on my next trip to visit DH.

Myrtle Beach (Pawley's Island) South Carolina. We switched homes with our MIL and FIL for 2 weeks. Great trade! :)

We went to Disney World! It was so much fun! :D

We didn't take a honeymoon right away, but went on a mini-getaway to Las Vegas for 5 days about 6 months after the wedding. Hopefully we'll go back again soon; we had so much fun! For our 5 yr anniversary, we're thinking we'll go to Hawaii. We are also hoping to get to disney with Alyssa in the next year. Time to get planning! :)

We went to disney for 7 nights. We were married Dec 21st so we were there for Christmas. It was great.

We had a destination wedding and a destination reception so the honeymoon is interspersed in there somewhere.

In the span of 3 weeks, we were in St. Thomas/St John, the Philippines and Hong Kong.

We took a cruise to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Marten, and the Bahamas. Heavenly :nod:

we went to Gatlinburg Tn. We had a really nice time. we went at the end of Jan so there was snow so it was sooo pretty

We spent 10 days in Pennsylvania. We went to Philly, Intercourse, Gettysburg, Hershey, most of the Amish country really. It was wonderful! We enjoyed it so much we went back for our 1st anniversary, but that trip we concentrated mostly on Philly and York area. I can't wait to go back up north again!

We spent 10 days in New England. We went to Boston for 6 days and spent the remaining 4 in Mystic, Connecticut. It was in the fall so the weather and scenery was wonderful. I hope to get back there again someday!

We spent 5 days on the Mayan Riviera and it was heaven!! I would recomend the resort to anyone. My only complaint was that we didn't stay longer. We had booked a trip tp go back this past October but then I lost my job in June and decided to stay home so we cancelled it to save money. That was probably the biggest bummer about getting laid off :lol:

We spent six nights in Walt Disney World, Florida. It was the first time there for both of us and we had a wonderful time! We stayed at the Dixie Landings resort (now called Port Orleans Riverside) and we never had to drive anywhere the whole time we were there. It was August so it was hot but we had so much fun!

We spent seven nights in Jamaica at Sandals Dunn River

Vegas..It was my first time flying (except a small private plane) and I was so afraid I threw up three times before we boarded the plane :lol: DH felt so bad for me he upgraded our seats to first class..

We drove 15 hours in a 5-speed Civic to visit DH's sick aunt.... in Oak Ridge Tennessee....

We went to Italy for 2 weeks! Rome, Florence & Ravello (Amalfi Coast)

12 days in Cancun Mexico - it was beautiful. We stayed here at the Melia Cancun. We are going to try to go back maybe this year. Aaaaahhhh - so relaxing just thinking about it....

We honeymooned on the Northern California coast, in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area. We didn't have very long, since I had just started a new job and couldn't get much time off, so we had to stay close by. We stayed in a wonderful little B&B... and our suite was seperate from the house itself, so we had a little more privacy than at your average B&B. :lol: It was a great, relaxing little getaway, and I don't think either of us would have changed a thing. We'd love to do a big second honeymoon trip someday, though!

Three weeks in Asia - Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. It was a dream-come-true :)

We didn't go on a honeymoon, but we are planning a cruise sometime w/in the next year or so.

We went to Disney World and stayed at the Polynesian resort for four nights and then did the Disney cruise for another three nights! :biggrin: Lots of fun but I could have gone for more of the tropical atmosphere and less of the running around at WDW but that's what my DH loves and I have to make him happy!

We went to VEGAS BABY!! :jump2: It was the first time I had ever been so it made it even more exciting.

At the time we got married, my husband suffered from a running injury in his foot, so walking was a big issue for him. We decided to take a cruise, so that I would have the option to get out if I wanted to, and he could spend his time resting his foot while hanging out on the ship. It worked out very well, and we had a great time! We took a Mediterranean cruise that went through Greece, Italy, Istanbul, France...it was just fantastic!! The only annoying issue was the long lines to switch currency every time we stopped in a different place.

We went on a Norweign cruise to St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and bahamas. It was so beautiful!! Looks like our next cruise will be the Disney cruise...lol. Although we live 1 1/2 hours from Disney I am sure our son will be a frequent mickey visitor.LOL.

We went to Maine (Bangor, Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park)
And to Saint John, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia (One of their national parks which I cant spell or pronounce, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, and Halifax)

Right after we were married, I could only get a few days off...so we drove up to Mackinac Island, MI, and stayed at a B&B- we got there right in the middle of the lilac festival, which was really nice.

Then, a few months before our 1st anniversary, when I got a longer vacation, we went to New Orleans for our "big" honeymoon (or early 1st anniversary trip, I guess, depending on how you look at it :) )

We took a cruise to the Southern Caribbean. :)

We got married on a Friday night in September and were planning to take a two week vacation to Florida the following February so we just took a long weekend and went up to Massachussetts. We had tickets to get in free to Six Flaggs so we did that on Saturday, went to the Yankee Candle Flagship store on Sunday and stocked up on MacIntosh then headed towards Salem and visited the witches on Monday and came back that night.

We spent 11 days in Brazil--the Amazon, Iguacu Falls, and Rio. An *amazing* trip, and worth waiting the year and a half after our wedding! :)

We went to the shore. in new jersey. big deal since i've gone almost every summer, huh? But my husband was doing his year in Korea and had a 19 hour flight both here and back so he didn't want to get on another plane or drive far! So, we rented a little house for the week that let us take our dog! we enjoyed it.
on the way back from Korea we stopped in Hawaii for 5 days and that was very nice, too! It was 5 months after our wedding. But we'd go back to either place!

We didn't have a honeymoon exactly, but less than a year after we got married we went to Scotland with DH's family, and we call that our honeymoon. I would have liked to have done something on our own, but who am I to complain about our free trip to Scotland? :lol:

We went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico which is just south of Cancun. The resort was ok but I ended up getting sick from the food so we spent a lot of time in our room. I'd go back to Cancun but I don't think I'd go back to Playa del Carmen.

We went to The Poconos

We rented a condo on the beach in San Juan Capistrano. CA. We did Disneyland, Sea World, etc. :)

Another Gatlinburg, TN honeymoon! We rented a cabin right outside of town for a week. It was so nice!

We went on safari in Tanzania...we stayed in luxurious lodges (in the Ngorongoro Crater) and "roughed it" while camping on the Serengeti, serenaded by lions at night. It was fantastic!

We spent three weeks in Europe. We visited London, Paris, Lucerne (Switzerland), and Venice, Florence, and Rome.

The first night we stayed in "The Treehouse" at a wildlife refuge in Eureka Springs, AR.
The second night we stayed in the Precious Moments hotel in Carthage, MO.
