I know my parents just did- they switched to Verizon. I'm not sure if their contract was up, or if they just "fired" Sprint. My dad was pretty fed up with them.

Well, I can't speak as to why everyone else hates pcs, but dh has it as his cell phone service and I hate it because it will be perfectly good weather and we'll be in a service area, and we'll still get a dropped call, even though we have full service....this happened to me multiple times in an hour for several hours at a time before.... :tantrum: :tantrum: :tantrum: The contract is up next month...I hope dh switches companies!

I had the same problem with Sprint. It took two e-mails and three phone calls before I could terminate my contract (my one-year service was over). Try e-mailing them. That was the most effective for me. I did it off their website somewhere and all they did was ask for me to phrase it some way in a reply. I did, and they terminated my contract.
I switched to Verizon and am a VERY happy camper. The only time I drop calls or get poor reception is when my battery is about to die.

My brother had sprint and hated them because on his detailed bill they were saying that he was making phone calls that he wasn't and he went over his minutes every month because of it. He had tons of minutes too. He is now happily back at US Cellular.

I had Sprint PCS and got rid of it in 2 months. I had to pay the
$ 250.00 fee for ending my contract..But it was well worth it !
Everytime I had a question..I would call Sprint and have to talk to "Claire" the virtual phone PITA computer. Well, she never understood a damn thing I asked her.:violin: So , i would be put on hold until I could talk to someone (a REAL person). I finally got tired and said to He&& with it ! Went to Midwest Wireless and have been very happy !

Well thankfully we have a government contract so we can cancel at anytime. And I think that we quit using Sprint PCS within a few months. Same reason as everyone else. We could never keep a connection. So frustrating!

I have Sprint and so does my DH and my brother. I will occasionally lose a call, but not that often. The coverage seems great for the areas that I am in. I have traveled through out New England and service has been fine.

We have sprint right now and hate it too-- we live in an urban area and get dropped calls all the time. Sometimes we can't even get a signal in our own home.
As soon as the contract is up we're switching!

I have been a Sprint customer for 3.5 years now and can honestly say that I love them. They have great rates/plans and anytime I have ever had a problem they have gone out of their way to be nice and help me out. I am surprised that everyone has such problems!
