see I blame on of my attendants at my shower.. I registered for this cutting board that fit into the sink well the store only had one so she bought it for herself and the store never got anymore in :disbelief:

I have one and I use it all the time. If it's dirty, I use a plate. I am terrified I am going to somehow cut the counter and it's going to start growing gross mold.

I have 2 cutting boards from Pampered Chef that I love. They weren't that expensive and have held up really well.

I couldn't cook without a cutting board; I don't know of any other place to cut food without ruining the countertops. I use a plastic one, and after cutting meat, will wipe it down with Clorox Cleanup and hot water before putting it in the dishwasher.

DH (a chef) has one that is permanently on the counter. He had it made by a professional woodworker. It's about 3 inches thick and reeeeeally heavy. I can't lift it on my own. We pull out the plastic cutting board when cutting raw poultry though.

I have a set of white plastic ones (3 sizes), one from Tupperware, and a wood one that I just bought from an Amish market last week. That one is pretty so it stays out on the counter.

I have several white plastic ones and I like that they're easy to use and they can go in the dishwasher.

We have a wood one that is about 2 inches thick. We just clean it after every use, and I wipe it down with oil about once a week.

We used to have a plastic one, but I got tired of how easily the board warped. It made cutting things on it very difficult.

I had a wooden one for the longest time until recently when I noticed it smelled like onions all the time and no matter how much I washed it I couldn't get the smell out of it. I tossed it and bought a plastic one from WalMart that I'm a lot happier with.

I have a plastic one and a glass one. My mom got me the glass one because she said my stepdad ( a chef) really liked them. I don't really care, as long as it's not wood.

I have an old wooden cutting board. I'll get a new one someday, because this one is pretty big and bulky. It works fine though.
