Giving up afternoon naps?

It seems any more these days its a battle to get Isaiah to take an afternoon nap. Could this be just another stage he is going though? What age do kids normaly start taking just one nap?

Caroline didn't cut down to one nap until she was about 16 months old. Her morning nap was getting later and later, her afternoon nap was getting shorter, so we cut the morning and pushed everything to the afternoon.

Matthew cut out his morning nap around 11-12 months. His afternoon nap just moved up a little and went to 2+ hours. Now his afternoon nap is later, but is still about 2+ hours.

Rebekah went down to just an afternoon nap at around 10 months. It seems like that's early but it just happened that way.

Alexis went to one afternoon nap right at about 11 months. She was in daycare 3 days a week and started cutting out her morning nap because she was afraid she was missing stuff going on. :lol:
