Hi, I'm Linda. Bev (user ID Beverly) is my sister. She suggested I join. (No, I would not jump off a bridge if she told me to, but this seems harmless.)
I am 37 years old (but Bev will always be 9 minutes older than me!), live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (Go, Flames, Go!) home of the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth". FYI, that's the slogan for the Calgary Stampede. It's a rodeo.
I have a DH Glenn, and two boys, Walker and Ty.
I am very bossy, which suits my p/t job as a director at a tv station. I work Th/Fri/Sat/Sun on the 4-midnight shift, am production assistant for two shows (Lethbridge and 6:00) and I get to be my own editor/production assistant on the late show.
My oldest son, Walker (6 1/2) is in grade one (it's very boring and nothing interesting ever happens at school). My younger son, Ty (4 1/2) is at preschool two mornings a week and refuses to discuss going to kindergarten in the fall. I say he's going and he says he's not. DH Glenn is a post production editor and gets to travel around about 4 or 5 times a year. Every January he goes to the Winter X Games for ESPN (Aspen the last two years) In March/April he goes to Women's NCAA Final Four for ESPN, June is Stanley Cup finals for ESPN/ABC and in August the X Games for ESPN (Los Angeles last year and this year). I have to stay at home and parent while he is gone. I mean, I GET to stay at home and parent. (Yeah, GET to, that's it.)
I guess I really belong in the Oct '97 and Nov '99 playgroups, but it seems no one is ever there.
