A part-time idea is something that I'll be doing starting this weekend. I'm going to be a greeter at an Open House (real estate). I'll be working 10am-5pm on Saturdays and/or Sundays. I'll be making $100 a day! I'll feel better about contributing financially. :jump2: ArtsyMom April 23rd, 2004, 05:45 PM In Canada (mostly the GTA) there's a web site called Canadian Homeworker at http://www.CanadianHomeworker.com It has legitimate work from home jobs but not all of them are terribly exciting. Still, I have found some freelance work off the site. mybabygarrett April 25th, 2004, 10:24 PM I just started selling Discovery Toys. Cortney April 26th, 2004, 07:04 AM I sell Close to My Heart Scrapbooking and Rubber Stamping supplies. www.closetomyheart.com (http://www.closetomyheart.com) B.Mace April 26th, 2004, 12:03 PM I had a Tupperware party last night and am seriously considering going ahead and becoming a "dealer" aylhu April 27th, 2004, 11:10 AM Mina, what type of work interests you? Are you a people person or do you prefer to do your own thing? What is your work experience? Are you wanting a JOB to work at home (you'll have to consider if you can keep regular hours) or do you want to work a business of your own. I do a few things, including a wedding business and a baby signing class business. I also sell Mother of Eden products through their new direct sales arm. I got a return on that investment right away. But when it comes to direct sales, I always say you have LOVE and BELIEVE in your product and if you want to really make money, you have to really treat it like a business. Here's the new phrase I coined: If you work it, it will work! Can you teach any kind of class? Can you do any freelancing and consulting? I have a work at home site I maintain full of resources I used when starting out and still use now. http://www.cafewahm.com If you are able to freelance, job share or consult, there's a section for that. There's also sections for direct sales and general work at home information. I hope that helps you some. And feel free to ask me any questions! Calypso April 28th, 2004, 10:47 PM Thanks for the link aylhu. I'll check out the site. |
