Troy has an eye infection! I was given a perscription for eye drops... this was a REAL CHALLENGE tonight!! How the heck can I do this without such a struggle? Uugh!
Any suggestions to make this a little easier.... he's only 3yrs old!? :help2:

My Dad told me that when I was a toddler I needed eyedrops and to get them in was like wrestling and alligator! Than he got smart and would sneak them in while I was asleep! :lol:

We tried this when Emma was little and the child would WAKE UP!!! :lol: I hope it works for you!!

Kim... when Kaitlyn had pinkeye... we were told to tell her to close her eyes... and put the drops in the inner corner of the eye --- btw, she had to be lying down on her back. Once she opened her eyes, the drops automatically go into the eye. Just be prepared for a bit of a freak out, because sometimes the drops do sting.

Was gonna try, 'while he was sleeping' trick but he woke up before I could get near him. :eek: LOL

Tried the 'close eyes' trick that you suggested Chantal... worked like a charm! He still wasn't impressed and told me to 'stop it, Mommy, stop it' but atleast the drops went in!! No crying or freaking out!
