Has your blood pressure gone back to normal and stayed that way? I had pre-e with readings of 185/100 - or something like that. That was a year ago and my readings when I go in to the doctor are all over the place now... Usually my top # is OK, but sometimes my bottom # is too high. Once I went to the ER and they freaked out because my heartrate was 155.... My BP and heartrate were perfectly normal before pregnancy and now they seem all screwed up. Anyone else?

I had pre-eclampsia with my first son and my blood pressure went back to normal shortly after he was born and it's been fine ever since :nod:

Have you spoke with your Dr. about your numbers? Maybe they could give you some insight..

I was borderline PIH while I was pregnant. That's why I was induced.

Now, my numbers are a little higher than they were when I got pregnant. But I've also gained about 35 lbs so I think that has something to do with it.

I had pre-e with both pregnancies, and my BP went back to normal by my 6 week check with both.

Yes, mine have gone back to normal.

Mine are normal when I am healthy normally, but when I have any kind of infection now they seem to go up... Although I was just in today and it was not too bad...

Hmmm...I've only been sick once since Katie was born and I didn't go to the doctor...so I don't know how illness does or doesn't impact them.

Well it just occured to me that I am on decongestants for bronchitis and that is probably affecting my b/p....

Mine was fine after having Anna.

My sister, however is still on water pills 18 months later.

My BP shot to 165/115 when I was pregnant the first time, and I was induced a week early for PIH. Within a week PP it was back to normal.

This pregnancy the highest it's been is 136/100, and that was an afternoon reading. All my morning appts have been 125/65 average.

Mine are back down but are still slightly higher than they were pre PIH.

Right now they are in the 110/75 area pre PIH they were in the 100/70 area.

My highest during pregnancy was 160/110....as of last month, it was 110/70, so it has gone way down after giving birth...
