I need some help. We built a fence for a dog run a while back. We are going to be putting our house on the market soon and need to put something in the dog run to help with the mud caused from our recent rains. We have a large lab that thankfully is getting out of her digging phase. Bark chips, rocks (doesn't sound nice for our dog), flagstone, etc.....something.

What's in your dog run (besides the dog)?

We have gravel (not sure what size and DH just left - no wait he is here and says it is road mix). Does not seem to bother the dogs (at one time we had a lab -who also digs, shepard mix and another lab mix in there. However they usually are out there to just do their business and play some. Due to complaints we got from an annoynomous neighbor a couple years back we can not leave them outside while we are gone due to barking.

We had too much dumped in their so we als have a large pile of rocks in the middle and the lab just loved standing on in to see over the fence!
