My MIL and GMIL are coming to visit on April 15. They are staying 6 full days.

The weather here has been so cold and yucky that I'm afraid it will be hard to do things like go to DC or the Inner Harbor. GMIL is in her 80's and the cold might be hard for her to take. These are So. CA people. MIL puts on a sweater if it's 65°F outside.

So....I need some ideas of INDOOR things to do that are within a couple hours of Baltimore. Please help me so I'm not stuck at home with my MIL for 6 days!

PS - original outdoor ideas would be great too. I found a place called Longwood Gardens in PA that would be nice to see (1.5 hrs north of us).

What about Ladew Topiary Gardens? A heck of a lot closer to you than Pennsylvania. If the weather is nice, there's always the zoo - Rebekah will enjoy that. How about some of the historical stuff downtown? Baltimore Museum of Art, the Walters, the Edgar Allan Poe House, the Flag House museum, Maryland Historical Society.
