View Full Version : 12 Month Clothing
redhairedgirl April 6th, 2004, 08:40 AM Where do I find 12 month clothing for a little boy? I have scoured every store around me, looking for some clothes for spring/summer for Aiden, and I can't find anything. Not even in the consignment store....
I REALLY need pajamas.... those are even MORE elusive. I'm finding that if you're a little boy, once you grow through 6-9month clothing you immediately go to 2T. Atleast, that's what it looks like in the stores! Girls clothes don't seem to have this problem... I've seen the hangers, and the only saving grace is that DH won't allow flowers on Aiden's jammies. I am really getting desperate at this point....
Does anyone know where I can find footed pajamas and some spring clothes for my little boy? Even online?
Thanks!
Mandy

Faye April 6th, 2004, 08:46 PM I see 12 months everywhere I go for boys and for girls  There are certain times when I want a specific item that I have a hard time finding it sometimes, so it may be that everywhere you have been so far has just been out of stock of what you are looking for. If you are looking for more moderate pricing on clothing then maybe you could try Walmart, Kmart, Target, JcPenney, Sears.
JillMelissa April 7th, 2004, 02:22 PM I've had a hard time finding 12-month sizes too... it does seem like things jump from infant sizes (up to 9 months) straight to toddler sizes! And I am having a *terrible* time finding plain old, one-piece, footed sleepers in anything over 6-9 months - I can only find 2-piece PJ's which I don't want!

I've managed to avoid the Hanna website until now...that's just dangerous! It's all adorable!

Not only are they cute, they're the BEST quality clothes I've found. And if you want to re-sale they hold their value (just check 'em out on e-bay)
Eva April 8th, 2004, 02:27 PM I ordered a couple of things from Hannah Anderson for Emma and I love them. The quality is amazing.
As for 12 month sleepers, I started buying some for Emma recently. I noticed that of all the clothes I got at my showers I had no sleepers above 6-12 months. I bought a couple of osh gosh sleepers and a disney sleeper and they all were the traditional ones with feet.
Karri April 8th, 2004, 02:32 PM I've never had issues finding 12 month clothing :dunno: I know that for jammies, Aidan had sleepers (1pc) from Carters and some cheapies from Target.

I've looked at all those places.... and I've looked at all the various stores around the area. I'm tellin' ya, around here, the clothes jump from 6-9 months to 2T. There must be a HUGE population of little boys running around in the Cleveland area.
Thanks for those links Courtney, but I really didn't want to pay that much for jammies.... cause I like having atleast four pair. That would be a fortune and I'm cheap!
Whatever happened to Dr. Denton's? Does anyone remember those?
Mandy
Melissa April 8th, 2004, 03:21 PM Dh actually bought Dr. Denton's for Katie, they are too cute! They have little teddy bears and flags on them and they are so soft. Yeah, its a boy's outfit, but we really don't care. He got them from the post exchange on base.
Oh, and they were $6.00!!! Cheap enough Mandy?
redhairedgirl April 8th, 2004, 03:30 PM Oh, and they were $6.00!!! Cheap enough Mandy? Now, that's my price range for jammies!
Isaiah's Momma April 8th, 2004, 05:03 PM All of Isaiahs clothes he has right now are 12 months except for his jamies. He has two 24 month rompers he wears and they actualy fit pretty well. We just have to roll the sleaves once, he is tall though.
Lynn April 8th, 2004, 05:47 PM Hello my cheap friend! :) I found some jammies for Aaron at Target (2 piece $8), Old Navy (2 piece$12.50 [I thought that was a rip off!]) and Walmart (again - 2 piece $8.92). I found that I actually like the Walmart ones the best and I paid the least for them. They're made by the same company as Carter's, too. I REALLY wanted to find some footed pj's but didn't have any luck :(. I was wondering if Carter's made a size XL..?
Oh - and my Gap here has 6-12 month and 12-18 month sleepers!
fabichoclo July 19th, 2004, 08:45 PM I found great 12 months items at www.briannababy.com (http://www.briannababy.com) and they have great prices in pima cotton, it's really soft. My baby is really happy with her new items.
