My core hours are 8:15 - 4:55. Weird. There are a few large companies on the road, so they all worked together to adjust their hours a little to help with traffic.

However, I have flex time. I can adjust my hours on a daily basis, if I need to.

My official hours are 8 to 5 M-F. However, I usually get here around 8:15 and they let me go around 4:45 everyday. I don't usually take my hour lunch I'm entitled to unless I have something to do.

Right now I am a SAHM (well, technically i am stil considerd on mat leave). Boefore I worked shifts so I would either work 7 AM -3 PM or 11 Pm -7 AM. I definately didn't like the latter.

Technically I work 7:30-4 but I leave my house at 6:20 and get here at 7ish and don't leave until 4:15-4:30ish. The overtime is nice but to come in later and off earlier would be so nice.

I work 7:30 to 4 now, although it's pretty flexible. I prefer working early so I avoid most of the traffic.

I was working 7:30 to 5, and getting a day every other week off, but they cancelled that program. I miss it. :blue: I LOVED having a day to myself to do whatever I wanted.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an hour for lunch. I'm the receptionist, so there is no flexibility. Before I inherited this job, I worked from 7:30 to 4:00 with half an hour for lunch, which I liked much better. It cut my commute time from 90 minutes a day to 40.

I work 2 part time jobs.

~At the school: M-F (depending on when I get called, I substitute teach in grades 6-12) from 7:15am-2:25pm.
~At the store: Weeknights 4pm-9pm (1-3 days a week), and all day Saturday 9am-4pm.

My contract hours are 9:02-3:50 M-F (school is in session from 9:17-3:35 and we need to be there 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after) with a 40 minute duty free lunch. However, I am there between 8:00-8:30 everyday and usually never leave before 4:00. My drive time is exactly 2 minutes. :)

I work M-F, 8-5 with a one hour (unpaid) lunchbreak. I would rather do 7-4 or 7:30-4:30. They said if I need to I can, but not on a regular basis... they need me there during regular hours. Traffic sucks at 5!

Technically, my hours are 9-5:30, which isn't too bad, IF I actually got to leave at 5:30, I rarely get to leave before 7pm and most of the time it's after 8. That said, I wish I could come in earlier, so I could leave earlier - but, b/c my boss seems to think the world will come to a crashing end between 5-5:30, I must stay that late. And, it never fails, something always comes up at the last minute - and b/c I'm there, it needs to be done - however, it COULD wait until morning!!!

I am now in a straight days 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri. It totally sucks after being a shift worker for 11 years. :dead: I used to work 10 hour shifts 5 on 4 off, 5 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off. It was the BEST! I have about a 15 minute drive from Mason's daycare which is about 5 minutes from the house.

Well I'm starting work in two weeks - will be working 9-5, but will have to leave home around 8am and will probably not get to pick up Carter from daycare till around 5:30pm - I wish I could work earlier and leave earlier!
