Do you have any favorite green products? Cleaners? Other things?

I make some of my own cleaners. My fav. is a soft scrub. I mix Murphy's oil soap with Borax and baking soda and lemon grass essential oils until it becomes a paste. It works great for cleaning the tub and it smells so good!

Floor Cleaner (Pergo, lamanent, Vinyl, linoleum)

4C vinegar

2C lemon juice

2C water

¼ C dish soap

Other favs that you can buy are Melaleuca Tough and Tender. This product seems to melt the dirt! I love it! I also like the Clorox green line. Holy Cow glass cleaner. Lemon scented Simple Green.

I have a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 hydrogen peroxide. After I clean the bathroom I spray the toilete and sink with it and let it air dry.

I heard that Listerine is a good bug spray.

The last time we needed dusting spray we got the Method kind and I love it! We have also used the Method laundry detergent and hand soap. But, the dusting spray is my favorite so far.

I'll have to try that. I've been looking for a good one but the "green" kind are pretty expensive. I'll try the Method when the one I have now is done. My SIL uses Method hand soap. I used it once and liked it. I'll switch to that once mine is used up. My hands are sooooo dry from washing all the time. I hope this will help with that too.

I haven't used any green cleaners in a while :blush: I was recently given a sample of Shaklee Basic H2 that I'm curious to try out. I just need to pick up a spray bottle.

I just use a damp cloth to dust, no chemicals at all. I also use "Earth Choice" Brand for my floors which I mop every 2nd day.

I really like the Method products- especially the laundry detergent. Everything else (like Tide) smells too strong to me now.

I like Shaklee products, my mom has been buying that stuff for as long as I can remember. The Basic H is great, you can even wash your fruits and veggies with it and a bottle lasts a really long time. The basic G is a germicide and is good for use in the bathroom.
