What were your HCG numbers? My sister's were 35 on Saturday and 132 on Monday... I'm wondering if she might be pg with twins! :dunno:

How far along is she?

I am not sure if this will be of any assistance to you or not!

My first pregnancy, which ended in the miscarriage of a single baby, had an initial beta of 72 and those numbers more than doubled every 48 hours. My second pregnancy, which resulted in Connor and Lilly, had an initial beta of 85 and were slightly less than doubling every 48 hours.

I was told the only thing that will tell for sure is an ultrasound. Wish her luck and congratulations from me!

I went through IVF and am now pregnant with twins. My first beta (initial pregnancy test), the number was around 375. I then had to go 2 days later to make sure they were doubling and that beta was in the upper 900's. They didn't mention anything to me about the numbers indicating twins, and although I was thinking they were quite high I didn't find out until they did an ultrasound the following week and saw two sacs!

I really had to go back and search to find it, but the day I got my BFP my HCG was 21 (barely PG!). That was a Tuesday. Three days later, on Friday, the levels were 210. Then I went back 6 days later (Thursday) and they were 1,748. 8 days after that, I had my u/s that showed twins!
