She texted Melissa (mamagoofey) to inform that Annika arrived safe and sound weighing in at 3.2 KG and is 47cm long. (7lbs 4oz, 18.5inches) born on the 19th March.

Just a quick check-in as I'm getting visitors again. She is totally adorable and extremely content - only cries for feeds. At this stage I'm only getting up once at night for a feed, so I really can't complain.

Wow! What a week!!! Hopefully I'll be around a bit more, but can't promise anything.

Annika had jaundice. Luckily she was borderline, so the ped said he wanted to give her body chance to heal by itself, which it did. But we had to take her to hospital four times for blood tests to make sure her count was coming down. She seems to be doing fine now.

I'm having problems breastfeeding - not enough milk, so I'm on meds to increase my milk, but not sure if it's working yet. In the meantime she's getting formula and about two feeds of breastmilk a day.

Still getting lots of visitors at home and also trying to catch up on some sleep. Last night was her first difficult night, so I hope it's only a once-off!
