Daniel has almost caught up!

The speech therapist finished her 6-month evaluation of Daniel and he has almost caught up! He started at the 7-8 month level (at 23 months old) and he's now at the 27 month level (at 29 months old).

She said he still has some problems - vowels are not right most of the time and his facial muscles are still weak - but overall he's done amazingly well!

He says practically everything now so I don't notice too many new words anymore. Lately he has said cream (keem), warm, work, hammer, pumpkin... There was something he said the other day that surprised me but I can't think of it now.

He consistently says 2-word phrases so we're working on 3-word phrases. And we're working on using "I" instead of me - llike "I did it!" instead of "me did it!"
