I teach 6th grade and we have been having alot of discussions recently about homework. I am just curious to see what other parents think and what other schools are doing.
How much homework does your child typically have per night? (Not including studying for a test)
Is the homework in all subjects or do they have a different subject assignment each night?
Is the homework worksheets and review questions from the book, reading chapters, long term writing etc?
How long does it take for your child to complete the assignments?
I am simply just curious. My team of teachers have been going crazy :silly: with the homework excuses and the not turning in of assignments so this has been a pretty hot topic.
