I noticed when my DD was very little that she had a tiny bump under her skin on the back of her head behind her ear. The dr. said it was a swollen lymph node and it would go away. I also asked about it on another board and got similar responses. But it's still there and seems to be a little bit bigger. I'm mostly concerned by DH just finished chemo for a tumor in his jaw which turned out to be cancer.
So my question is, if your baby had this, how long was it before it went away?

My guys don't/never had it but if you are that concerned ( I would be ) then I would get another opinion just to make you feel better.

Heather. :bighug: Has it gotten a lot bigger, or just a little? Or could it be your mind working on overtime?
I noticed one on my daughter shortly after she was 16 months old. I was terrified as well, as my MIL had lymphoma and cancer runs in my side of the family as well. :blue:
When we asked the pediatrician, he asked if she had any serious falls or injuries lately. She did have one where her forehead was cut pretty bad, and he told us to watch it and see if it grows. According to him, the lymph nodes can swell after an injury.
Anyway, fast forward a few months and it was still there. :errr: Again I asked my ped and he said that sometimes the skin thins in that area and you may always feel it (Greaaat! ) . The only advice was to make sure it wasn't getting larger and larger.
I have recently forgotten about it, but you know tonight I'm going to check!
