What day is your birthday? Do you like the day or time of year that you were born?

Mine is January 24th...I'm not a huge fan of it. It is really close to Christmas, so I get all my gifts for the year in a month. I always wanted a summer birthday for this reason.

Mine is January 15th and I mostly feel the same way at Michele, although, it's nice if I didn't get something I wanted for Christmas I can ask for it for my birthday.

Mine is July 15th and I love it except that as a child I didn't get to celebrate at school like everyone else.

Mine is April 2. I got a lot of grief growing up that it was so close to April Fool's Day. The only thing I disliked is that sometimes people wouldn't remember to turn their calendar over and would forget my b-day. Petty, yes.
J was due 3 days after my b-day, but he had to be indueced. I asked if it would be possible for me to not be in the hospital on my b-day. Luckily the ob obliged and he was born March 30.

Mine is November 30th. So basically I feel the same way as Michele and Hillary! It sucks to get everything at the same time of the year. I do like the time of year it's in for one reason, we have always gone to Disneyland for my birthday (since I was very young). Because, if we go the week after thanksgiving, but 2 weeks before everyone is out on Xmas break (my bday falls in there...) then there is never anyone at Disneyland!!! Plus it's all decorated for Xmas by then!

Mine is September 13th. I really like it. It's usually cooling off by then and sometimes my birthday is on Friday the 13th :)

Mine is September 4th. I was actually born on Labor Day  I really like it. We always had huge get-togethers and a picinic growing up and it is right at the beginning of school so not only would we go School Shopping in August but then I would get great things for school on my birthday also. The only draw is that being right at the beginning I never had school friend birthday's because we were just getting started and people didn't like to do those. It got better as I got older and retained the same friends but in the beginning I didn't have many school friend parties.

Oct. 14th. I love my birthdate, except that I was one of the youngest in school b/c the cutoff was Dec. 31st in CT. But I love fall, so it's a great time of year to have a bday, and I always got to celebrate in school.

August 23rd. I love my birthdate, although I hated never having a birthday during the school year.

August 27th ~ As much as I love it being in the summer, it always meant it was the end of summer and school was about to start. I started K and 12th grade on my bday so other than those two times I didn't get to celebrate during the school year.

Mine is April 22. I've always really liked it, not too close to the holidays and I got to celebrate with my friends at school.

Mine is July 2. I love it. I loved summer the most as a kid, and with 4th of July 2 days later, I always felt like I had a week of celebrating.

August 14th. I like it, though as a kid I always wanted to get to have my birthday at school.
Now, umm, my birthday probably will never exist again. Our anniversary is August 12th (cause we wanted to get married on the same day my grandparents were married) and Travis' birthday is August 13th.

This is both my dh and my first cousins birthday(they both turned 28 this year), both of them thought fire works were actually for them as little kids.

My birthday is December 31st, I have always liked having it on NYE because there is always a party somewhere! I don't mind having it close to Christmas either, sometimes my gifts were combined, but they were always bigger then :)

January 4 (which I share with Alysia!) I don't like that it is so close to Christmas and gets lost in the muddle of all our other winter activities (Caroline's birthday, our anniversary, James' birthday, my dad's birthday, etc.) And when I was little I hated it being in the winter because I never got to do fun birthdays outside with my friends. But now I love my birthday no matter when it is.

Mine is December 6. Being close to Christmas never really bugged me what bugged me during school is that it was always close to exams so you couldn't really celebrate. Also as a child lots of my parties got cancelled due to snow storm. Now as an adult I don't really mind the date.

Mine is June 19th. It's a great day for a birthday, though in high school, it meant finals right around that time. I spent my 19th birthday (we can drink at 19) studying for my math final the next day. I liked in elemenatary school, though because it was always near the end of school, so it was always a lot to be excited about.
August 27th ~ As much as I love it being in the summer, it always meant it was the end of summer and school was about to start.
Eric's birthday is Aug. 26, and he said the same thing. He waited all summer for his birthday and then had to go back to school the next week.

Mine is December 23rd. Yeah - pretty damn close to xmas. As a kid, it was bittersweet......3 straight days of celebrating and presents - what kid wouldn't love that? However, we were rarely in school on my b-day, and I could never have a kid party close to my b-day b/c no one was ever able to make it b/c everyone is busy.
My family was always very, very good about making my birthday a separate occasion from xmas....separate day, separate gifts, and never smaller/lesser gifts.
As an adult, I have to say, it still kinda bites :heee: My birthday tends to be overlooked b/c everyone is still busy. It really bites that every damn year, my ILs celebrate their b-days, their sons b-days, and their DILs b-days, but mine? No. I don't get a cake. However, Jesus does. :wtf: is that about?

Karri, that is whack! :hug99:
Mine is June 2nd and I have always liked it. It's the 2nd day of winter here. I like how it is smack bang in the middle of the year so it breaks it all up for me. The only sucky part was that being it is winter I could never have a pool or beach party for my birthday, but that's no biggy.

mine is january 29th and I feel jipped with it being only a month after christmas. Not as bad as my mom who is January 1. She always complained that everyone was always hungover on her birthday:giggle:

Mine is September 4th. I was actually born on Labor Day
Jayne! Kareem's birthday is Sept 4th, too, and he was born in Labor Day in 1995. The family thought it was hilarious that I was in labor all day on Labor Day.
It's a nice time to have a birthday, 'cept sometimes his friends/classmates are gone away for the weekend.

My birthday is Oct 17th. It's the best birthday ever. I love, love, love fall...warm days, cool nights, beautiful leaves, pumpkins everywhere...great time for a long weekend drive and a hot Starbucks.
My birthday is exactly 2 weeks after my fiance's (we've been friends for more than 17 years), one week after my parent's anniversary, the same day as my niece's (she is six) and 2 weeks before Halloween.
For me, it's such a celebratory time of year.

I'm 28 June. I've never liked it. When I was in school it always fell during the holidays and now I don't like it 'cause it's in the middle of winter.
