Bedroom help...

Please help me... I see my bedroom too 'plain' and boring... perhaps you could tell me a few ideas to lighten it up, make it less dark, I don't know :sad:

It's a rented house and I can't make dramatic changes such as re-painting everything; but I can put some paint near the ceiling or re-arrange the furniture or something...

I would rearrange your pictures, for sure--you have small pictures on each wall...not much of an "oomph" factor if you know what I mean. You should cluster them together rather than spread them out.

More dramatic curtains would help too--yours blend with the wall color a bit too much.

Than you Sarah... you're right about the pictures I think I'll move them... but wouldn't that make the empty walls look plainer? :scratch:
I don't know why, maybe because of the light but the curtain looks a lot lighter in the pic, they're actually darker, dark green. I was thinking maybe a similar colour line near the celiling... don't know how you call those in English :dunno:
