The rules:


You get credit for 10 extra posts after posting a link to the thread in question in the 25+posts thread.
Any post can be nominated to recieve 1-10 extra posts because it is so wonderful.
Negative posts will be awarded for inflammatory posts
Negative posts will be awarded for serial posting (3+ posts in a row)
There will be no reputation this year.

Kristen, you just post till your heart can't post anymore :lol: It really gets this place hopping. I think that Deb and I posted something like 8 thousand posts last november :lol: That would explain my 16K posts thus far. If you start a thread and more then 25 people post in it you get 10 xtra points added to your post count. When the game starts there will be another line added under your name for November posts so you can keep track of them!

Ummmmm..... I've got some bad news. We got rid of the code at the end of the posting contest last year, and Stagg can't remember what he did. And he is so busy with his real job that he can't spend all night figuring it out (darned real life getting in the way!!!)

So, what I think we are going to have to do, and I realize this is a little lame, is have people post their post counts here starting at 12midnight today/tomorrow and then we'll subtract at the end of the month.

If it is as close as it was last time, I can look at the exact time stamp of posts and be accurate to the post.

Last time the journal posts didn't count, but being as we don't have the proper code, it will have to this time cause there is no way to distinguish the difference in posts :dunno:

Nobody is online now, so I am happy to go to the members list and lodge everyones post counts as is so we have a starting point. I guess it's a benefit I have for being online while everyone else is sleeping :lol: I will do that now, I will start a new thread with the list.
