Amber just came down the stairs grunting and dragging her bedspread behind her. I met her halfway up the stairs and asked her what she was doing. She gave me a little hug then turned around and went back to bed. I laid down next to her and asked her if she was awake and she said yes. I asked her why she was going downstairs and she said because she needed it. That's all she would say was "I needed it." I don't have a clue what that was all about.
She used to have night terrors. Maybe sleepwalking is a progression of that. :dunno:
Does anyone else have experience with a sleepwalking child?

I used to be a sleepwalker when I was little. My mother would describe what I did/what I would look like and it sounds similar to what you experienced with Amber.
She would always calmly say "go to bed" and I'd turn around and go as well
Apparently, one night I stood at the door of our living room very quietly that no one in the room noticed me for a while and when my sister did, she screamed

I used to be a sleepwalker. My mom would also just tell me to go back to bed and I would. In high school it got worse and I would actually shower and eat breakfast in the middle of the night.

Kaleb is a sleepwalker. It's very scary to wake up to see a 6 foot 2 "man" walking outside your bedroom door, only to realize it's your sleeping giant of a son

My brother is a sleep walker, and a sleep stripper  . He has been for as long as I can remember...he never remembers any of it. He also had night terrors...it's been a long time since he's had one of those though, not since I was in elementary I don't think (he's 2 years younger than me).
