My friend M always has 5 days of spotting before AF comes.
Last month, M had a 21-day LP, spotted on days 13-18dpo, and never got a positive pregnancy test before AF came. She's using FF to chart. At 18dpo, she talked with her midwife who said her chart showed that she was pregnant. The midwife suggested she wait 3 days and then they'd do a blood test. She got AF at 21dpo and it was heavier than normal.
Today is 18dpo. She had very light spotting, described as "beige" until yesterday, nothing today, and she technically should be pregnant just like last month. But last month she wasn't and she hasn't tested this month. She's trying to decide whether to wait or get a blood test but she's also concerned about having such a long LP.
What could be going on? It's not normal to have a 21-day LP, is it?
